Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
Zoo Atlanta is a large and modern zoo that houses many animals from 220 different species. It features giant pandas and a Panda Conservation Center that is home to the only twins of the species. The zoo operates with the goal of conservation and education, which makes it a great place to learn about different animals and their habitats.
This is a great zoo. Not overly large which makes it better for families with little kids still finding their legs. Most of the area's were shaded well to keep from getting too hot. The exhibits looked well Maintained and the animals seemed healthy and taken care of. Food options were just OK. Go early to find close parking.

Pretty large zoo with lots of places to go. The informational signs to educate attendees about animal trafficking was very nice, and each enclosure seemed like a good size. Staff members were helpful and well-informed, and the trick-or-treat experience was fun for the kids. My only quip is the food and drink, the staff didn’t know much about how to make either.

They have some of the nicest people working at this zoo! From the girl at the front to the lady scanning our tickets, they took the time to talk to my niece and it was absolutely adorable! We rode the carousel, train and played in the splash pad before seeing all of the animals. They had workers stationed throughout the zoo to educate about the different animals in the exhibits which was awesome. I learned way more than usual since I'm notorious for not reading signs. This was a wonderful stop on our vacation!

We had fun exploring seeing the animals but the overall experience was okay. It’s a smaller zoo than other ones we’ve visited. There were cute Halloween decorations around. Many of the food areas were closed even and the cafe is over priced. It was sorta depressing feeling with the lion habitat under construction and you can hear the lions. The otter habitat water looked low compared to when I first visit in 2022 (that experience was better)We rode the carousel and train with the combo wristband. The carousel attendant was amazing, We rode twice back to back then another two times after our train ride. She always had a smile on her face and she never made us get off to get in line, she just made sure we were staying on and recounted us. The young train attendants were blah, we rode three times back to back but they made us get off the second time just to get back in line and the crazy part, it wasn’t even busy. No long lines or no carts filled to capacity. Literally they had multiple empty carts so why we had to get off was beyond me.All in all, we still had fun. We can check that off our places to visit list...

Took the whole family out to see the pandas. They did not disappoint. Of course, all of the other animals are great to see, too, but in Houston, we don't have pandas. We were able to rent a powered mobile chair for my wife. Made it nice and comfortable for her.

We came to Zoo Atlanta on a weekend and had a lot of fun! We used the Atlanta City Pass which gave us the option to come to the zoo. We really liked it here. You do have to pay to park using Park Mobile which was interesting because you have to estimate how much time you want to spend there. You can set a lower time and then add more later, though. There is a general line to get in, where they have multiple stalls where you either buy tickets or keep walking through to get scanned in. The line was not too long. They had someone ushering people to the stalls so it moved very quickly and smoothly. We got to see the pandas which was really cool. A lot of the animals were brought to a different location to avoid the heat. The animals are well taken care of and have beautiful habitats. We got to see a lot of the animals because we came pretty early, so it was still cool outside. A lot of them were asleep, but we were still able to see them. Walking around the zoo was beautiful. They have a lot of lush plants that provided a good amount of shade as you walk through the zoo. When we came, it was not too busy. There were a few gift shops scattered throughout the area, but the main one was the one we went to before we left. We spent about 2 hours here, though I probably could have done more. There were a lot of volunteers and workers who were all super nice and passionate, which we loved. All in all, this was an amazing experience and we would definitely come back.

City pass is a must if you’re touring around Atlanta. Save yourself money. The zoo Atlanta was cute, a little disappointed not being able to see panda or lions but had a good time overall. The petting zoo was fun and the goats are friendly, well taken care of. Seeing the sloth was a highly of my day! I love sloths 🦥 plus there was a baby sloth. The rhino was shy at first until it came outside to pee which was an interesting moment since we were excited for the rhino to come out. The zoo had some shows which I can’t talk on since I didn’t go to any of them. I did walk around the whole zoo and is though it’s a small zoo a lot of animals and interesting facts. I definitely recommend.

Free street parking and free for military!I recently visited the Atlanta Zoo, and it was an incredible experience! The zoo is beautifully maintained, and the variety of animals is impressive. One of the highlights was seeing the pandas – they were absolutely adorable and clearly well-cared for. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall wonderful experience.I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area; it's definitely worth the trip! Great panda themed gift shop near the pandas too. 🐼

The Zoo was a beautiful oasis in the city. Every staff person I met was smiling. The education ambassadors were excited to share their knowledge. I was able to store my luggage with Member Services so I could visit the zoo on my way to the airport. The zoo has good directional signage and a map that actually matches the layout! Food stalls and restrooms are well-spaced along the routes. I had a hot dog that was out of this world delicious. The enclosures are well-maintained with elements designed to stimulate the animals' cognition. I visited earlier in the morning and most of the animals were out playing or eating. It was a great time to go!

The family and I had such a good time at Zoo Atlanta. We came in from Florida, and this was stop number 1. There is nothing like the nostalgia and sheer awe of experiencing these amazing and majestic animals. My youngest daughter had the time of her life, especially when we got to brush and pet the goats. Our favorite experience was watching the baby gorilla drag around a tree branch and figure out what it was. What an amazing time.

Adventures for all ages. My two youngest nephews are very interested in learning about animals. This was the perfect outing not just for them but all of us. We enjoyed the animals and learning about their feeding and living environment. The kids also enjoyed the animal carousel 🎠 and train ride through the zoo. This location also has gift shops, food court, and splash pad.

I didn't have a lot of time but I was flying out late in the afternoon and I wanted to spend the extra time here seeing the pandas before they leave. It's a really great zoo, the enclosures are all large and beautifully kept, there's a wide array of species, and though I didn't have time to get them in, they had some really fun looking rides and attractions for an extra cost. I'd definitely love to come back some time when I have more time and just enjoy the day. And the zoo obviously had no control over it but the weather was fantastic!

If Monte Python’s Cheese shop were a zoo….Remarkably free of animals. It’s like the board of directors thought…. The best way to increase profit is to build an enclosure and out of a poster of “what could he there”.I spent $37 for 2 hot dogs and 2 drinks. Now I expect to get fleeced at a park…. It took 20 minutes in line and 20 minutes to pick up a hot dog that I had to put the condiments on myself. - a gas station could do it in u see a minute. Maybe it was a proposed sloth exhibit- They should put up a sign. This would’ve been a one star review, however, there were some redeeming points. The weather was absolutely spectacular-not that the zoo had any control over that. It was a wonderfully relaxed time with my son and they had some large animals that were pretty impressive. A lone gorilla on a hillside. Two beautiful elephants that were actually the highlight of the day. And the rhinoceros.

A fun excursion for the family - highly recommend weekday morning to avoid the larger crowds and get more time with some of your favorite animals. The team members here are all so friendly! Literally even the maintenance guys chatted with folks as they passed by.

FANTASTIC!I am aware that not everyone agrees with zoos. I get it. But it is one way to increase awareness of the impact of humans on our environment. Some of the animals are in danger of becoming extinct. With that being said, this is a fabulous zoo to visit! It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the Atlanta area! They do have immersion experiences, but unfortunately, we did not realize this ahead of time, and they were sold out.We did, however, feed the giraffes! What a delightful experience to see their prehensile tongue! We also leaned tidbits from the staff about giraffes! It was also awe-inspiring to see the pandas, which are slated to return to China soon after being in Atlanta for 25 years! This will be on our list whenever we return to Atlanta!

I was actually really impressed with our visit here! It’s been a long time since I had visited. You can get pretty close to all of the animals and they were pretty active on the day we visited. Almost all the animals were out and about with a lot of movement. We were most impressed with the gorillas exhibit. The only thing I’ll say is I think it was tad overpriced. But we would definitely visit again.
Amy J — Google review
The flamingos, reptile collection and Giraffe feeding were some of the highlights. Lion den was under construction and many of the animals were not in habitat. Overall average experience for the price paid. Lot of food stalls and washrooms. Most of the pathways are covered by trees so will not be difficult to visit during hotter days. Parking is 3$ per hour or 12$ for day pass.

Pandas! Pandas! Amazing experience to see these beautiful creatures up close. Also never saw so many gorillas at zoo before. The staff was friendly and saw them stopping to offer education on animals even though they were on their way elsewhere. Zoo is easy to walk with lots of opportunities for shade. The parking is a bit of a hike if the small lot is full and have to use garage.

Enjoyed my experience at the Atlanta Zoo. My fiance and I were in Atlanta for a conference. On the last day of our trip we decided to check out the Atlanta Zoo. Loved it! I especially enjoyed the Panda Bears and the Alpacas. There were other exotic animals, a train throughout the park, and a kids area. If ever in Atlanta...I would definitely suggest checking out. I'd hurry though if you want to check out the Panda Bears though...they will be going back to China sometime in the fall.

Bought tickets in advance so it was super quick to get in. The parking was easy follow and find, and we had no trouble getting back to our car. So many animals to look at (theres a map), it's fun and exciting to see things in real life for the first time. I would recommend going here, as there are great concessions, workers, and animals.

Small but fun zoo experience! The red pandas, elephants and sun bears were a highlight. We originally came for the pandas but we’re very sad to learn that they have been returned to china. We should have done more research. Those were definitely the staple animal for this zoo so it feels like something is missing without them. Also saw the Christmas lights display as they were going up and highly recommend checking those out! Looks awesome!

Visiting Atlanta for the first time and Zoo Atlanta was recommended! With good reason! This is a great Zoo. My local Zoo, you are in for the day as it is a serious hike to get through it. This zoo is well laid out and compact! We made our way through it in just over two hours and we saw it all and stopped to take in the critters! And there are many here.... Elephants, giraffes ( my favorite), lions, tigers and bears oh my! (Sorry...) And Pandas! Plus much more... Well worth the trip. Like every zoo admission, the price is a bit steep, but not out of line compared to others. So, go! A little old for the playground, but it looks awesome and there is a train which is always fun!!

I recently visited the Atlanta Zoo and was thoroughly impressed! The zoo is beautifully maintained, and the variety of animals is astounding. The exhibits are well-designed, providing both the animals and visitors with a fantastic experience. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to share interesting facts and ensure the well-being of the animals. The educational programs are top-notch, engaging both kids and adults. The grounds are clean, and there are plenty of shaded areas and benches to relax. Overall, it's a perfect family outing or day trip destination. Highly recommend!

Went near the end of the day and stayed later for a special event, but the animals were all awesome to see.Reptile house was VERY dark, so we couldn't see much, not sure if it is normally like that. The lion exhibit was half blocked off by construction as they were working on expanding said exhibit. Family loved the elephants.Staff were kind and friendly, answering all questions about the animals, as well as assisting an older member of our group get a wheel chair, with a smile on his face.

We always have such an amazing time at Zoo Atlanta! The staff is not only friendly but really knowledgeable. They love talking about the animals. Even though the Lion habitat is under renovation we could hear them roaring throughout the Zoo! We were also there as they were setting up for IllumiNights and let me tell you, the installations are beautiful in the daytime so they must be magnificent at night!!! Oh and the sloths have a baby right now that kept peeking out to say hi. We love visiting Zoo Atlanta in the Fall! If you need a walking break then head to the carousel or the playground by the mole rats. Finally if you have a big family consider taking advantage of the Zoo Pass available at your library! Enjoy!

Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, Centennial Olympic Park is an oasis of green space and interactive attractions perfect for a summer day out. The fountain, the Fountain of Rings, can be synchronized to music and light displays and is great for children to enjoy. Nearby attractions include the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, and the Childrens Museum of Atlanta.
I haven’t visited Centennial Olympic Park in some years and since the hotel we were staying at was within walking distance, we decided to go for a stroll. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays, very family and dog-friendly. There were some “characters” around but it’s Atlanta.

It was clean so far and well-maintained...in terms of urban trees, plants, amenities, seats & walkways which is relaxing. The greens around is refreshing to the eyes while you can see the giant ferries wheel at a distance. This was my landmark when I navigate my way to the nearby attractions such as coca cola museum, aquarium and college football hall of fame.I gave 4 stars because there was a time I worry about my safety when there was not enough security within the park.

Not a whole lot to do here. A lot of open space. It was safe walking around at night and taking pictures. Park was clean. Locals were friendly. Free admission.

The park is vibrant, scenic spot perfect for relaxing or exploring. With its iconic Fountain of Rings, lush green spaces, and beautiful views of the skyline, it offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. The park is well-maintained, and its central location makes it easily accessible to nearby attractions like the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola. Whether you’re there for a walk, a picnic, or just to soak in the history, it is a treat.

July 2024Centennial Olympic Park was magnificent. The ground keepers have done a great job to it clean and kept up. The vegetation was very green and manicured. You will see artifacts from the 1996 Summer Olympic Games. Kids were playing in the Fountain of Rings to stay cool and there was a playground too. It looked like a cafe was closed for renovation.I noticed there was a police presence to make sure homeless or shady people stay out of the park grounds. We felt very safe walking in it during the day and night.

Have wanted to see this park for awhile. They have done some great things with it pertaining to the fountains they have here. It drew a pretty good crowd on the Thursday afternoon that I stopped. Lots of stuff to read about. Just a nice park right in the middle of Atlanta, just a short walk to the other attractions.

A must visit for those who are from out of town. It is the anchor for everything Atlanta including Aquarium, World of Coke, and College Football Hall of Fame (best Chick-fil-a inside). Great views of the city too.

Upon entering it becomes apparent that this park is well cared for because it's cleaner than most hotels. The color scheme was well thought out. The great variety of trees is a showcase of native trees of Georgia. Many monuments commemorating historical figures n events. It has cameras throughout the park n police patrol the park all day by golf carts. Extra clean public bathroom in the main office area. The many shaded areas of the park offer a refreshing sitting spots next to beautiful water falls n water parks. The park is surrounded by restaurants, hotels and free street cars. A must see place to visit again and again.

It's a crowded and well visited touristy check point. A must visit if you are in Seattle. The amazing part is that this is well policed and managed late into the night. The cops promptly close gates I think around 10 PM every night to ensure the place is safe and off any random incidents

What a beautiful park. I would absolutely recommend people visit here if you only have 1 day in Atlanta. It is very calm and scenic, you can relax in the large grassy area or sit in the many benches and water fountains. They have the Olympic rings and if you have kids, they do have a playground.

Beautiful park to walk through! It is conveniently located next to the World of Coca-Cola and the Georgia Aquarium, so there is really no excuse not to see. They have created some humbling monuments to not only the 1996 Olympians but also to the tragic events that happened during that time.

Beautiful spring day, early in the morning, was a lovely time to visit. Had the place to myself. Can be enjoyed as a big open space lined by pavillions, water features and a playground. Or if you have the time, walk through the "quilt" areas, each dedicated to a different aspect of the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. I was fascinated by the amount of thought and detail that was put into the planning of this space. Loved all the water features, including the splash park that you can walk through. Fun stop!

Nice and clean park. There's not much there to do, except walk. It is a historic site with plenty of restaurants and tourist attractions in the area. There is a water area for the kids to play in, so bring a towel and a change of clothes if you plan to partake. You will have to pay to park on the street but it's inexpensive. It's better to go in the evening, when it's hot as hot. They have scooters for rental as well when you download the app.

I visited Centennial Olympic Park on 15th August 2024. The park is a significant landmark with a lot of history, and it offers plenty of green space and attractions like the Fountain of Rings, which is a highlight, especially for families and tourists. The landscaping is well-done, and it’s a nice place to walk around, enjoy the views, and take in the Olympic legacy. However, the experience was somewhat dampened by the presence of numerous homeless individuals throughout the park. While I understand it’s a public space, their presence was quite prominent, and at times, their behavior made it challenging to fully appreciate the park’s beauty and significance. It would be beneficial if there were more efforts to manage this situation to ensure that all visitors can enjoy the park comfortably.Overall, Centennial Olympic Park is a historic and scenic spot, but the experience could be improved with better management of the area.

The Georgia Aquarium is one of the world's largest aquariums and is perfect for both adults and children. It offers an educational experience while also allowing visitors to see fascinating marine life. The attraction often hosts special events such as Sips Under the Sea which sells out quickly.
I recently visited the Georgia Aquarium with my two goddaughters, and we all had an amazing time! The variety of marine life and interactive exhibits kept us engaged for hours. Watching their faces light up as they saw the whale sharks and dolphins was truly priceless. The staff was friendly and informative, enhancing our overall experience. It was a wonderful day out for both kids and adults. Highly recommended for a fun and educational family outing!

Easily the best aquarium in the world! This giant space is full of exhibits, interactive opportunities, and friendly staff! I did the Behind the Scenes Tour, which I highly recommend. It was only an additional $16 and wow was it eye opening! This 30+ minute tour takes you to three different staff only areas! Jude, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and just as fascinated to learn as we were! Thank you Jude for making my aquarium experience amazing!!

The Georgia Aquarium is iconic for many reasons. We came here using the Atlanta City Pass and were able to go to five different attractions for a very reasonable price. When we arrived, they said that only tickets for a specific time would be allowed inside. City Pass does not have that constraint, so we were able to walk right in. This is a great place, but it was super busy. Every exhibit was crowded to the point where I felt rushed and not enjoying the experience, but there were some moments where I did. They also had the collaboration with Animal Crossing and we got to meet the Tom Nook and Isabelle mascots, which was super cool! They also had little signs with information from the game with educational components which was also very neat to see! The exhibits here are awesome. The animals have plenty of space and plenty of care which I love about this aquarium and other AZA-accredited aquariums. We probably spent about 2.5 hours here. There's a lot to look at, and I could probably spend hours watching some of the animals swim around. The whale sharks are one of the most unique things about this aquarium, and seeing them in person is so cool. They are magnificent creatures and I am glad that there is a facility here that can foster their success. They have done a lot of great conservation work and education. Their gift shop is huge and has a lot of pricey items, but I like to think that the money goes to a good place.

We had a great time! Definitely played out very well. You can walk through and exhibit, use the facilities and then shop if you want. Head to the next exhibit, wash rinse repeat! With kids that’s so important. Some adults too to be honest.

YOU GOT TO SEE THIS PLACE!!! READ!!!!!!!!!!!IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN PLEASE READ THIS!!!!!We spent about 6hours of walking and sight seeing with here and there of sitting down.Definitely wear comfortable shoes have a carrier or stroller. The area was definitely clean. Never saw overflown trash. The dolphin shown was a definitely worth the watch. We paid the extra for the best seats in the house which I recommend getting to be able to see at the right spot. Sea lion show was adorable aswell but the dolphin show was the best as my girls state.Buying tickets online was a breeze. Would come back for the aquarium but the outside was the scare read below….!!!!!!!!!READ!!!!!!! This will not affect the score of review please read!!!After leaving the aquarium I recommend keeping an eye on the children of yours and stay away from the playground across the street. I went to go get the car and left my mom and the 2girls for them to play. Well my mom had daughter someone recording my daughter with a recording device. My mom quick thinking got the girls and walked off but he walked up to her asking for money. She was on the phone with me at the time asking for me hurry back to where she was. I told her to walk over to the valet across the street to get around other people in the opening.WATCH YOUR SURROUNDINGS!!! Trafficking is real and happening!!

The Georgia Aquarium is an incredible place that offers an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with stunning displays and an impressive range of marine life, from playful dolphins to awe-inspiring whale sharks. The Ocean Voyager exhibit, with its massive tank, is a true highlight—walking through the tunnel surrounded by such a variety of sea creatures is magical. The layout of the aquarium is well thought out, making it easy to explore each section, and there’s plenty of interactive exhibits for kids and adults alike. The dolphin and sea lion shows are also a must-see, showcasing both the intelligence of the animals and the dedication of their trainers. The only minor downside is that it can get quite crowded, especially on weekends or holidays, which can make it hard to fully enjoy some of the exhibits. A bit more space in certain areas would make it perfect. That said, the aquarium is clean, well-maintained, and full of fascinating educational information.Overall, the Georgia Aquarium is one of the best I've visited—definitely worth the trip and almost perfect in every way!

I enjoyed the experience, although the layout is a lot like a shopping mall (which was overwhelming for me). I lost my phone at one point and a staff member was able to quickly help me retrieve it! Each exhibit was unique and had guides stationed well-throughout to tell you more about each species. If you prefer a quiet experience, I recommend earplugs or headphones bc there are a lot of families, which gets noisy. The Halloween decor was also a nice touch.

I have been to this aquarium a few times and every single time it’s AMAZING. I have to give a special shout out to our behind the scenes tour guide, Joseph. He was so kind, helpful, and genuinely enthusiastic and passionate about the aquarium and the animals. He made the tour really fun and engaging. It was pretty crowded while we were there but he said hi to me when he saw me later. It really made me feel seen and boosted my excitement. Every exhibit is so cool and I think I could spend forever at this aquarium.

Would definitely visit again and would definitely do the dive again!

It’s always fun to visit any aquarium so when in Atlanta this is a must do. It’s is large but can still be crowded on the weekends. I found the variety of fish and displays are vast. There is something for everyone. I do recommend buying tickets in advance. Doing this I was able to save about $15 per ticket. It also helps cut the wait time. I would highly recommend this for anyone.

Celebrated our granddaughter's birthday at the Aquarium. Cost a small fortune. The longer you wait to buy your tickets on a day trip, the more you pay. Food costs were more than Disney's prices which is saying a lot. However, the Aquarium is very clean, organized and we saw a lot of really cool things. I do wish there were more interactive things to do with children. All and all...we had a great time and spent 4hrs and we were able to see pretty much everything and have lunch.

It's amazing here. Definitely see the shows. The sea lion and dolphin shows were both amazing. I recommend going as early as possible to the dolphin show as it is a huge auditorium and it fills up fast. Also, the soak zone is no joke. It isn't light splashes, people were drenched and the water was cold. I sat in the 11th row (first row of blue seats) and still got splashed (a couple droplets). Center seats are better than side seats for viewing.

If your looking for a good way to spend some time this place is definitely it. Took roughly 2.5hrs to leisurely see everything and there's even special educational shows you can watch. This place was everything I had hoped an aquarium to be from a giant under water wall to hands on experiences and special tours. All of the exhibits have informational plaques on what is in each tank and some even have special viewing areas that put you up close. All of the exhibits were stunning and full of life.

🌊🐠 **A Wonderful Birthday Celebration at the Atlanta Aquarium!** 🎉🐬I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at the Atlanta Aquarium with my husband, and let me tell you, it was an experience that exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we stepped through the gates, we were transported into an enchanting underwater world filled with vibrant marine life and awe-inspiring exhibits. One of the highlights of our visit was undoubtedly the mesmerizing sharks. Watching these majestic creatures glide gracefully through the water was both exhilarating and humbling. It’s an incredible reminder of the beauty and mystery that our oceans hold. And if that wasn’t enough, the dolphin show was the cherry on top! The playful dolphins showcased their intelligence and grace, leaving us in awe of their incredible talents. It was a joy to see them interact with their trainers and perform breathtaking stunts.I wholeheartedly recommend setting aside at least 3-4 hours for your visit, especially if you want to take in the full experience and reserve time for the shows. Each exhibit offers something unique, and there’s so much to learn and discover. It’s a feast for the senses and a wonderful opportunity to connect with the wonders of the aquatic world. As we soaked in the sights and sounds, I couldn’t help but think how perfect this place would be for our kids. The Atlanta Aquarium is not just a destination; it’s an invitation to explore, to wonder, and to bond as a family. We’re already planning our next trip, and I can’t wait to share this wonderful experience with our children. If you’re looking for a place to spark joy and create lasting memories, I highly recommend visiting the Atlanta Aquarium. It’s a celebration of life, beauty, and the importance of preserving our oceans. Dive in, let your curiosity lead the way, and prepare for an unforgettable adventure! 🌟🦈💙

This place is absolutely amazing. There is a ton of stuff to do and a family could really make a full day of it. The animals and their environment were very well maintained. The gift shop is a bit on the pricey side but I expected this for an attraction like this. I highly recommend visiting the aquarium.

I absolutely love aquariums! This one would have to be one of my top favorites! There is so much to see. You can spend hours here. The price is all worth it. Highly recommend!I also want to add that I went on a Monday and felt like it was not crowded at all! Highly recommend going on a week day.

Let me start by saying, this aquarium is by far the best my family and I have been too. The staff are all welcoming and the facilities are clean. They really cater to families and keep nursing mothers in mind. All four stars go to the entertainment and the amazing marine life Georgia Aquarium cares for. what an amazing learning experience and the fact you can literally spend the whole day here made it even more worth it. Also, loved that they decorated for Halloween, wish I can see how they setup for Christmas! The show dolphin and sea lion shows were absolutely amazing and really set the bar high. A must visit attraction when in Georgia.Took a star away due to the food offered. Wasn’t great at all, so I do recommend eating prior to entering the aquarium as the food/drinks are a bit overpriced for what you get in terms of quality and taste.Overall the best experience!

Our group of 10 recently visited the Georgia Aquarium, and it was an incredible experience for everyone. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the variety and scale of the exhibits. The aquarium is beautifully designed, and it’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a space where visitors can learn about marine life while having a lot of fun.One of the highlights for our group was the Ocean Voyager exhibit. Seeing the enormous whale sharks up close was awe-inspiring, and the underwater tunnel made us feel like we were truly submerged in their world. The Beluga whales were another favorite, gracefully gliding through the water and offering us a glimpse of their playful personalities. The wide viewing window and the dolphins show were my favorite. I sat for 15 min listening to music and watching the window. You can sit on the stairs facing the window and enjoy the view. The aquarium has a wide range of species on display, from tiny colorful fish to massive sea creatures. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re fascinated by sharks, dolphins, or even jellyfish. The interactive exhibits were a hit, especially for the kids in our group, who loved getting hands-on with the touch pools. What really stood out was how well-organized everything was, despite the large number of visitors. The staff were friendly and helpful, guiding us through the exhibits and ensuring we had a great experience.Overall, the Georgia Aquarium exceeded our expectations. It’s a must-visit for anyone in Atlanta, whether you’re with family, friends, or a large group like ours. We all left with lasting memories and a newfound appreciation for marine life.

In my decades of life, this will be one of my most unforgettable experiences and best memories, and it will also be my favorite aquarium to visit. Visiting the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, gave me a rich knowledge of the world of marine life.Georgia Aquarium is one the most top in the world. In the environment of this huge aquarium, from the entrance to the exit, I saw many creatures from the depths of the vast ocean, as well as other marine amphibians. From some small shallow sea creatures that appeared in front of me at the beginning to the huge fish swimming in the deep sea hall, they all attracted my attention strongly. This made me have a strong desire to learn about them.In this aquarium, we saw dolphins, manta rays (stingrays/devil fish), sharks, beluga whale, seahirses, sea turtles, penguins and many other large and small, strange and colorful marine life. When we walked into the deep water exhibition hall, what appeared in front of us seemed to be a huge TV screen, or a huge glass wall display window, showing a group of large and small marine life swimming inside. We also walked into a large underwater glass tunnel about 100 meters long. Here, we saw many kinds of deep-sea creatures swimming in the water above our heads. We were really excited, as if they were really within reach above our heads. We can also go to the viewing platform on the top of the aquarium to look down at the beluga whale and sharks floating on the water, and marvel at their huge bodies more than ten meters long in front of us.Visitors who like to watch marine life performances can also stay longer in the museum to watch the performances. In conclusion, this huge aquarium in Atlanta of Georgia USA is really a top aquarium we must visit in our life. No doubt how much cost and tired feel you will get, it absolutely is worth to visit. We can use Atlanta City Pass or purchase tickets online preparing a convenient visit of ours. Hope you will be satisfied for coming here.

Place is absolutely enormous and much bigger than you're anticipating. I love going to aquariums and have always wanted to visit. While evacuating from hurricane Milton, I had to go through Atlanta and decided to stop in. I loved every exhibit and the place was crowded even for a Thursday. I figured it wouldn't be.Went and saw the dolphin show while there and, while tacky, was still entertaining. You know people are having fun when the screams of being splashed drowns out the music.Absolutely recommend visiting at least once. Easily the best aquarium I've ever been to.

Wow! This aquarium is very well done! The animals look very happy and you can take your time exploring the displays. The shark tank was so cool with sharks that were just as interested in people as we were with them! The display with the whale shark was so memorable. We went in the evening because they had a $25pp promotion. The kids in there really loved it. The gift shops had some cool toys and trinkets.

Had a blast!! Took the grandkiddo and he LOVED the different fish. Lots of people, but what do you expect, but everyone was moving along and letting the little ones get close to the tanks to see the fish closer. We had a great time and will go again!!

I’ve been here twice! The last time was just last week with my husband. We spent about $53 each and stayed for 3-4 hours. We didn’t reserve our tickets in advance, we just went there and bought tickets from their kiosk. We had a great time! Since we went on a weekday, the crowd was small, making the experience even more enjoyable. We reserved tickets to watch both the sea lion and dolphin shows! Food? A bit pricey. We didn’t eat there.
KJ T — Google review
You should definitely buy tickets online. The price difference between online and at the door is significant. Also, be sure to make day-of reservations to see the sea lions and dolphins shows. We love coming to the aquarium, and we had a great time

World of Coca-Cola is a museum which is dedicated to the history and culture of Coca Cola. It features hundreds of artifacts, some of which illustrate the success and popularity of the drink in different parts of the world for 132 years. The museum contains exhibits about different aspects of Coca Cola's history from its invention to its current branding strategies. There is also a working reproduction of the bottling line that produces Coke bottles all over the world.
My family and I had a fantastic time on the visit, which we had planned in advance by purchasing tickets. They've done a great job maintaining the historical data and relevant information. The best thing, though, has to be the variety of drinks available worldwide. We tried a lot, but there were too many to sample. The store that sold goodies was also really beautiful; we bought a lot of stuff for my two-year-old kid. Overall, if you're ever in Atlanta, I'd advise you to try to visit this location.

We absolutely had a blast! The drink tasting from all over the world was the best part! This is a great place to visit. It’s reasonably priced. They give you a souvenir and the gift shop had a vast amount of stuff to purchase and that was reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend you visit. We came during Veterans Day weekend and military was free.

Really cool place for people who love Coke! They have some very interesting historical pieces highlighting Coke's integral part in American History, cool exhibits, and a room where you can taste over 140 Coke brands on tap from all over the world! Really fun for people of all ages. ALSO FREE FOR MILITARY AND VETERANS! Thanks for supporting our troops Coke!

Read a bunch of comments on reddit about how World of Coca-Cola was a tourist trap but my daughter wanted to go so I kept my opinions to myself. I'm glad I did because it was a good time. I didn't think that initially when we were forced to watch what was essentially a six minute commercial for Coca-Cola at the start but it got better. The tasting room was indeed great but whether it was $21 great ($63 total) will be up to each individual to decide. For me, it was a decent way to spend 90 minutes with my family. I would not recommend visiting on a weekend, I was there on a Monday and the screening room was full.

Great museum! The vault experience was totally fun. My favorite part was tasting all of the different Coke products from around the world. Another favorite part was seeing the vault in person and learning the history of everything. The Oreo flavored Coke was delicious and I also purchased all 3 mystery bags and a crazy cute purse!

I recently visited the Coca-Cola Museum with my goddaughters, and we had a fantastic time! The exhibits were engaging and interactive, providing a fun learning experience for all of us. We especially enjoyed the tasting room, where we could try different Coca-Cola products from around the world. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful outing, and I highly recommend it for a fun and educational day with the family.

Pretty good experience, haven't been in a while. Only thing I didn't like was the guided tour that was in front of us. Staff would shut each exhibit down so the 5-6 person tour. The exhibits can handle much more than 5 people. I understand they paid more but integrate it in with the self guided tours. That's ridiculous making everyone wait. Everything else was fun and enjoyable.

Went to the “ world of Coca-Cola “ museum with my adult daughter for another bonding experience. She really enjoyed it. I did too considering that veterans get in free. We did the recommended self guided tour, starting with the lab, the vault, milestones, icons, discovery sent, and finishing with the taste room. The museum was very insightful and the employees were very knowledgeable about the history of the coke company. Receiving a souvenir cup with admission provided an opportunity for everyone to go home with memory of the museum. The gift shop was big and has a lot. The gift shop provides military/ veteran discounts too. This museum is worth visiting. Thanks for reading my daughter’s and my review. A heartfelt thumbs up would let me know others read these comments. have great day. give thanks to United States veterans.

Very thorough and intentional experience of the Coca-Cola brand! The guy who kicked everything off was superb and really set the tone. I had a great time visiting with wife and friends. You can taste sodas from all over the world at the end. Everyone should do it once.

I am not quite sure if it is worth visiting. Spending couple of bucks more for visiting Aquarium is much better option. It seams little bit outdated, the staff was not rude but also not kind. At the beginning they force you to watch some 10yrs old video which last 6 minutes. The only interesting things is maybe the tasting at the end, but from 20+ different flavours I liked 3, but some are really interesting.

What a fun museum!! A great place to spend an hour or two in Atlanta. Loved how interactive it was.The tasting room was very cool... It was fun to taste beverages from all around the world. (Despite the sugar high!)It was SUPER crowded on a weekend afternoon. By the time we got out (around 1pm), the line was across the park to get in.Overall, it was essentially a commercial for Coca Cola... But a really fun one.

Atlanta, the birthplace of Coca-Cola, offers a must-visit spot for fans of the brand. I went on a weekday, and the experience focused heavily on Coke’s history, featuring old ads and branding strategies. The highlight was sampling over 100 Coke beverages from around the world for free, which was a unique and fun experience. However, if you’re not a Coke enthusiast, the $27 entry fee may feel steep, as there isn’t a great deal to see. Plan for about an hour to explore.

July 2024I never knew so many people were interested in Coca-Cola where there was a huge line outside waiting to get inside. Luckily and recommend purchasing tickets online. They were just letting groups of people inside so can enjoy the place without overcrowding. As you wait they take your photo where at the end can purchase photos (print and digital) with different backgrounds. The place was full of Coca-Cola advertising memorabilia and the whole time spend 2 1/2 hours there. It's two stories and each section sometimes had a line to enter. The longest wait was to enter the vault but dd not see the secret formula where in another safe inside. It's seems this was all for show. The rest had fun activities like smelling weird things and tasting different worldly flavors of Coca-Cola products. The have a small cafe but only sell packaged sandwiches and drinks. There was a larger cafe outside next to the Georgia Aquarium. It was really fun to explore. You exit through the taste it! room into a huge store. You can enter the store without entering the World of Coca-Cola. They had all the merchandise with Coca-Cola on it. I took home a bag full of it.Overall a great place to visit but was hoping had some flavors from the Disney's Epcot location and sold bottled drinks from around the world.

Having been to the old Coke plant before I wasn’t sure what to expect coming here but it was better than I could have imagined. Very neat place to visit and enjoy one of our country’s great products and ever better stories of success in business. Hard work and dedication pay off big time for the company and its people for sure. The history is amazing and the memorabilia is priceless. Enjoy your time and don’t be in a rush. Take your time. Be sure and enjoy the faces of the people sampling soda around the world in the tasting room. You will get a kick out of the expression on people’s faces. Lol. Just a hint, we do it better than any other country on the planet! The staff are very kind and friendly. Seem to enjoy their job. Enjoy your visit.

When I was young, I was a Pepsi kid. Older and wiser, now i think Coke is definitely the soft drink I prefer whenever I have a soda. In saying that, this place was cool to check out for a couple of hours. A lot of interactive exhibits and just the history behind Coca-Cola were very interesting. At the end, they have a large area to grab a small cup and sample A LOT of different products from around the world. Just a people watching suggestion, hang out around the dispenser that has "Beverly" from Italy. Look at people's reaction to tasting this one...I promise you, it will be time well spent.

We had a great time. I really enjoyed all the old advertising memorabilia and the history of Coca-Cola from the beginning. This is definitely a place to bring the entire family you could see how much everyone loved trying all the different Coke products from around the world. If you're in the Atlanta area this is a must stop

So fun!! Absolutely loved my visit here.Wasn't really a wait outside. Got out tickets and went right in. At the start there is a small educational introduction to the museum and the 3 areas you will be able to explore on your own, we went right to the vault and got to try a new coke flavor, it was pink and kind of tasted like strawberry cream bubblegum to me. Then we made our way to a memorabilia hall and did some smelling guesses for some things. (The thought of putting my face to where hundreds of other people put their face to smell bothered me) But it was still fun! Obviously, the funnest room is the tasting room where there are soda fountain stations from all over the world, some were delicious, others were some of the foulest things I've put in my mouth. I think some of the worst that stood out to me was a Sour Plum fanta from China, or this Honey flavored soda. The worst of all lived up to its reputation, The Beverly is easily one of the nastiest chemical foul sodas I've ever put in my mouth. Me and all of my friends recoiled in disgust. It was a really fun time. Very sticky floors in that room. The gift shop has really nice quality clothes and merchandise as well.

I came from out of town as a tourist just wanting to get out in the city and explore Atlanta. This museum was an amazing experience and treat. When you arrive you’ll be taking a picture from the staff I wasn’t sure what it was for at first but it’s just for memories. After that you get to explore the history, the many brands that Coca Cola owns outside of the soda , you get to do a smell test of different scents, a taste test of different Coca Cola flavors/ products from around the world , & you finish off with the merchandise shop which didn’t disappoint I just wish I had more money. Overall great experience, great location, great atmosphere. 10/10 highly recommended and I am definitely coming again !! I also recommend getting the city pass where you have the option to go to the other festivities as well like the aquarium, and history museum that’s in the same location as well so save money on buying tickets individually.

Oh boy... my wife and I were super excited to visit the World of Coca-Cola museum, but it left a lot to be desired. Firstly, you can buy your tickets in advance, but then when you get to the museum, there's a MASSIVE line to get in. I'm not sure what needs to be done, but when you choose a time slot for your ticket in advance, you would think that the museum would adjust and properly sort it all out so you can enter when it's time but it just felt extremely chaotic. Right before you get into the actual musuem, you're ushered into a room to look at historical artifacts and then ushered into a theatre room which probably adds to the bottleneck issue (our qualm with this is that the initial artifact room had some really interesting stuff in there that was essentially rushed through since you need to get into the theatre room immediately after their initial introductions). After finally getting into the museum, the chaos continued because as you walk through exhibits, you're not sure if there are showings, videos, etc. and none of the staff is really trying to help or guide people. So you're REALLY on your own. Overall, it felt like a money grab museum... the only thing that we really liked was the Taste It! Exhibit where you get to taste Coca-Cola beverages from around the world that you may not be able to get in your local country. The gift shop had a lot of good variety of stuff to buy and some things that maybe you can only get in other countries but because this is their museum they have those options here. At the end of the day, it was an experience nonetheless, whether it was good or bad, it was good to experience it at least once. Maybe I'll come with my children down the line, but I would never come again just because I was around or feeling it. Definitely not one of those museums you want to keep coming back to, nor does it give you any incentive to.

I am giving one star not because that’s didn’t have a nice building, or interesting exhibits but because it it not worth $22. We had five in our group and every one of us were wondering what we paid $22.00 for. It is max a $9 value. Lower your prices a bit and I will put four stars here. After paying $20 to park, we paid $130 for about 30 minutes of entertainment.

I had just one day to explore Atlanta and decided to check out the World of Coca-Cola. While it was a fun experience overall, I found it a bit pricey for what it offers. The museum itself felt slightly dusty and could use some updates, especially considering the ticket cost and that it’s Coca-Cola. That said, it was still enjoyable to see the secret recipe vault and take part in several fun photo ops along the way. The highlight was definitely the tasting room at the end, where you get to try Coca-Cola beverages from around the world. A good time, but could be better for the price!

First time visiting the World of Coca-Cola since they moved from the Underground Area. Loved the exhibits, the stories, and the taste room. The taste room had some good flavors from around the world, but also some that were disgusting. It was a very enjoyable experience. You have to be patient since there is a lot of kids, different nationalities, and just people trying to take in the experience. A must if in Atlanta.

Hones share: We didn't want to pay for the museum since we only had 1 hour before they closed. However the Gift Shop is next to it and it's free. You can see inside the tasting center from one of the sides of the gift shop and honestly it was cool but not worth paying for, for us. We bought a lot of gifts for our Coca-Cola loving family and all the employees were friendly and helpful. We loved the gift shop and did spend a pretty penny so be prepared for the prices. I would go back again and shop there. The park outside was also very pretty. We went on a Monday afternoon and were so happy with the amount of people there, it was not jammed full and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.

Amazing historical park that includes the birth home of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Ebenezer Baptist church, and the tomb where Dr. King and his wife Coretta are laid to rest. Enjoyed the small museum inside the visitors center that does a good job going over Dr. King’s accomplishments and setting the stage of the system he would go up against. The actual birth home was unfortunately closed due to renovations expected to be completed by next year. We were given a great overview of the house and the childhood life of Dr. King by one of the park rangers that was a certified A plus! Overall a great place to go for history buffs and those curious about Dr. King and the Civil rights movement. Make sure to go on a sunny day!

This place is excellent for national history. As an immigrant, visiting the Martin Luther King center with my children made history come alive. I saw the house in which he grew up, there were documentaries that were shown at specific times daily, there were TVs showing the different times of the non-violent movement, and the cart that was used to carry his coffin was there live. I commend the US government for preserving the entire space and making it a national museum. It's a great place to visit with children. There were many visitors and a lot of school children who visited the place when I did.

Went on a weekend and it was an amazing experience. Getting to see what fire trucks were like back in the days, as well as the structure of buildings. Loved each of MLK’s important quotes being written on the wall as you walk down the waterway. I don’t remember buying tickets in advance, but it’s always good to be proactive. I gained a lot of insight and knowledge from this visit, more than some of the books told us to be honest.

Well worth going to if you are in Atlanta. The grounds cover many aspects of Dr. King's life in his place of his birth. So important to reflect on his history because it is our shared history. Was a fantastic way to help develop the conversation around racism & bigotry with my boys, both the 9 and 20 year old. Amazing to walk down the street where Dr. King walked from his home to his church where he learned and honed his ideals and craft. Grateful.

What an amazing place to visit. We had a great day visiting. We found street parking easily about two blocks away. The house where Dr King was raised is school for renovation, but there is still plenty to see and learn. Walk a block down the street and learn the significance the fire station had on his life. Walk across the street and see a beautiful water feature where Dr and Mrs King are laid to rest.Continue your walk to the Ebinezer Baptist Church, and then cross street and further enjoy the national park and all there is to learn and appreciate. We are only 60 or so years outside of the work of The Civil Rights Movement and this stop is an excellent place to learn the value of what it took to get here.We will absolutely return in the future when the restoration is completed at the house.

What an experience and I am glad my family and I were able to attend this National site. The facilities are clean and the grounds are well kept.We did the tour and presentation of the church and that was an absolute pleasure. The park ranger on 10/4 did an amazing job keeping us engaged in the stories of MLK Jr’s life. The park rangers are very knowledgeable.Unfortunately, we could not take a tour of MLKs home as it is undergoing renovations, but I am sure it will be spectacular to see once completed. This is a must visit and a great learning opportunity for children of all ages. The location for the church, fire station and MLK house are all walkable and easy for all abilities.

The final resting place of the great Martin Luther King was a beautiful and reflective space. The National Park is free. It was interesting to witness Coretta Scott King’s vision to preserve their community because COMMUNITY was what Dr. King preached about often. We visited the civil rights museum the day before so the exhibits at the MLK National Park did feel quite dated in comparison. Maybe donations could be more encouraged. I didn’t see a place to donate.

Visiting the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park was an eye-opening and inspiring experience. The tour, starting from the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, was exceptionally well done. Our ranger was incredibly charismatic and knowledgeable, weaving together a compelling narrative that brought Dr. King's life and legacy to vivid life. The ranger's storytelling skills and ability to answer a multitude of questions made the tour both informative and engaging. One of the highlights of the visit was the tour of Dr. King's house. Although the house is currently under construction, the video presentation provided in lieu of a physical tour was equally captivating and informative. It offered a deep dive into Dr. King's personal and professional life, making the history come alive even in the absence of the actual house tour. The park itself is beautifully maintained, with grounds that reflect the significance and serenity of Dr. King's legacy. Walking through the park, visitors can explore various aspects of his life and work, all while being surrounded by a diverse group of people who come together to honor his memory. This diversity added to the overall enriching experience, as it underscored the widespread impact of Dr. King's efforts.

Dr.Martin Luther King Jr National Historical Park is must to be visited place for students. We spend 3 hours in this historical place. Dr.MLK's house is under refurbishment and temporarily closed. Very nicely organized and maintained and they have a playground for the kids . The parking area is very close and it's free.. I love this place. Helped me to know , learn, understand Dr.Martin Luther King Jr..

Beautiful I really enjoy the museum. What a great dedication to Dr King. You could feel the energy like you were at the marches. Alot of history. Keep up the good work I really enjoyed myself.

It was surreal visiting this historical place. Free entrance. I visited on Sunday. I wished I came at 10 am to take in service at the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church. It wasn’t as busy since I was there in the morning, so I got to enjoy my visit. This is a must see for anyone who believes in freedom and Dr King’s dream. I was saddened at the sight of the carriage that carried MLK for his funeral, and also at the tomb site for him and his wife Coretta. You need time to soak it all in. So much history there. But the sight of ( Black) homelessness and mental health around the park is even more heartbreaking. A stark reminder how far we are from true progress. I did see security guards outside on the grounds too. The gift shops are closed on Sundays.

No words can fully describe being here! I walked around the corner (from where I parked) and stopped dead in my tracks. It's so surreal. I plan to go back before I leave, but I'm unsure if I'll be able to. It's free to the public. There's no reason not to go! Bucket list check off, but I'll come again and again!

For me, this place is somewhat spiritual. I absolutely love it here. From a historical perspective, very informative and interactive. As I walked through the buildings and exhibits my emotions were all over the place. Sadness, Anger but the need to learn more. This is a must visit for all people of all ages.I even got to meet one of my hero's The Great Mr. Andrew Young. "National Treasure"

This was a great museum. Parking was ample and free and admission was free as well. There was actually more here for my kids (6 and 9) to do than there was at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights which has a few. (Both are great, but again this was a bit more kid-friendly)If you go, MLK’s birthplace and tomb are right across the street- don’t miss them.

The Fox Theatre is located in Midtown Atlanta and has been used for performances of Broadway shows, concerts, and other events. It features ornate interiors with a Moorish theme, 3,600-pipe organ, and capacity of nearly 5,000 people.
We came to town to see the paw patrol tour so you can already assume that I had a child with me. Seats were great, theater was a bit chilly but we knew to plan for that! Restrooms were clean and plenty of staff to help with ALLLLLL the children! Loved this experience and will be back

Incredible Experience Watching The Lion King at Fox Theatre!Fox Theatre is an absolute gem in Atlanta! I had the chance to watch The Lion King here, and it was truly a magical experience. The theater itself is stunning with its grand, historic architecture and beautifully ornate interior. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the rich history and charm of this place. The performance of The Lion King was nothing short of breathtaking. The costumes, the set design, and the talent of the performers were all top-notch. The sound quality and lighting really made the entire experience immersive. Sitting in such a beautiful venue made it even more special. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the seating was comfortable with a great view of the stage. Whether you're here for a musical, a play, or any other event, Fox Theatre offers an unforgettable experience. I can't wait to come back for another show!

Visited the Fox theatre for a tour of the establishment! It was a great experience learning about how the theatre was built, the struggles it had to withstand over the past 94 yrs and how it has evolved to the mesmerizing place it is today. If you are in Atlanta, this is a must visit! Allen - our tour guide did a wonderful job of making the tour feel extra special. Hoping to catch a show here sometime :)

I’ve seen Alvin Aileys Dance Theater, The Lion King, The Nutcracker, Hamilton. Al Green Prince,(Every time he was there), most recently Leon Bridges probably a few others I can’t remember. Always fabulous shows. Never a bad seat in the house. I look forward to spending more time at the Fox. Easily accessible from anywhere in the city and surrounding area. Parking is affordable. The staff is hospitable in helping you find your seats. The marquee is beautiful at the historic Fox.Please note that some shows prohibit pictures and recordings but a memorable moment in time nonetheless. You’ll enjoy your time here at the Atlanta Fox Theater. Affordable tickets for events as well.

They call it the Fabulous Fox for a reason! After seeing many performances here, we decided to kick off the Halloween season with a ghost tour here. The walking tour was jammed packed with history and tales of reported ghostly sighting as we were led through the nooks and crannies of this gorgeous theater. MVP goes to the ghost of Roosevelt (10/7/23.)One word of caution, avoid the Espresso Martini...it's terribly frightful.

An absolutely AMAZING venue! It’s absolutely stunning.Every seat offers an excellent view and comfortable seats, leg room and space between people (I’m short and not too wide).Bathrooms on each of the 3 levels.2 levels of snacks/drinks.Exit on each level directly to the street.Plenty of street parking even when football games are happening at the stadium nearby for as little as $8 a 5 minute walk away. Other lots are $40-100.

I love the Fox Theatre. I have been here so many times throughout my lifetime I can’t count. More recently, I went to the Fox to see The Lion King and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The show was amazing and mesmerizing. Everything was great from the costumes to the music. And the Fox is such a beautiful and enchanting space.

Saw Hamilton here this review. Have been here at least half a dozen times over 10 years. It is honestly hard to find a bad seat in the entire establishment. The scenery and decoration inside the theater as well as the concession area is top shelf and absolutely beautiful.Do you go down to the bathroom area after you enter to find concession stands that are empty with no lines!Parking is always terrible here so be prepared to pay $10-$30 for a spot depending on how close. Highly recommended for in town and out of town. The show was amazing would definitely come back.

We watched The lion king this weekend and musical itself was just perfect!Every moves the actors made and singing was amazing..bringing all the childhood memory back! But the bathroom situation in fox theater is disastrous. Cannot believe how little of the toilets stalls are in that such a big event venue, and intermission was only 15 mins..Many people had miss the first 10 mins of second half show and got angry because we all paid stiff price for the tickets.Seriously need some improvement on that

The Fox Theatre feels like a part of my story, from seeing Wide Spread Panic, 10'000 Maniacs, Squeeze, Adam Ant, REM, Meat Loaf, John Cougar, INXS, Blues Traveler, Pearl Jam, Tommy Shaw and Styx and most recently the Broadway show Shrek it just feels like home. Architecturally, its like stepping into a sheik's palace and I love the balcony, where you can sit under the stars as they glisten above you.

Wow, I was so worried about having a bad seat but as soon as I stepped in I realized there was no bad seat. I'm not someone who is easily impressed and after hearing all the reviews about how beautiful this place was, my expectations were pretty high yet even so this place blew them away. It is insanely gorgeous inside here. The ceiling is just beautiful and really transports you out of this world you just have to experience it in person to know what I'm talking about. One thing that surprised me was that everyone was dressed up. This was my first time at a Broadway show so I just wore a hoodie and some cargo pants but people were dressed up in suits and ball gowns, just keep that in mind. There's a bathroom and concession stands that have popcorn and drinks. The coke I bought was $5 (it was the one in the bottle) and there's that tip screen that pops up as well so there's that. The bathrooms were very clean and able to accommodate a lot of people. The seats were very good but there wasn't that much legroom so my knees were cramping up. Thank God for that intermission. If you're looking for a super quick bite to eat before the show, I recommend going to Papi's Cuban kitchen. It was very good. The prices were decent and the food came out fast. There was also an elevator in here for accessibility access. All in all I was very impressed and recommend everyone to see a show here!

Must go to place. The theater is amazing. Hamilton is playing here and what can I say. Amazing performance great seating. Now I recommend sitting in the middle area. Picture is from my seat which again sit in the middle when booking. I will not add anymore photos to ruin the experience. Planning the next show to see. Handicap seating is really available but the ushers and the staff of the theater are there to help. It is downtown area of Atlanta so cost on everything is much higher.

I attended the Kurtis Blow Hip Hop Nutcracker with my group of girlfriends. The Fox Theater is an absolutely beautiful venue. We sat in the balcony, and we had a terrific view of the stage. A great time was had by all!

I have been fortunate enough to visit the Fox multiple times and see incredible performances of Annie, Finding Neverland, and Freaky Friday; however, my main focus is on the bedazzling spectacle that was Les Misérables on Saturday night, June 9th, 2024! This theatre is always packed with people so make sure to come early and prepared. The interior is absolutely stunning and very elegant. The show was just amazing. The singing performances were out of this world, the set was perfectly crafted, and the narrative was touching. The show was about 3 hours with a 20 minute interval. If you ever get the chance to come see a musical at the Fox, do not miss the opportunity

Parking was not difficult. Used the red lot. Arrival was not a hassle. Walked easily to the front of the venue. Made our way through concessions and to our seats via an organized flow. The venue itself was very nice, and we enjoyed Hamilton!

Every time I walk into the Fox it is always breath taken! I came to see the Play “To Kill the Mockingbird”! I can’t find my words! If you haven’t seen the play you have to see it! If any of the actors see this please note you all left me speechless!! Thank you all

I recently had the chance to see "The Lion King" at The Fox Theater in Atlanta, and while the venue has a lot of charm, my overall experience was a bit underwhelming.First, the renovations that have taken place over the years are noticeable, one crucial element feels lacking: the stage size. Coming from experiences at various Broadway shows, I was surprised by how small the stage at The Fox felt. For a production as grand as "The Lion King," I expected a majestic presentation, but instead, it felt more like a school talent show. The narrow stage limited the visual impact of many of the performances, which was disappointing.I had seats in the main orchestra, specifically in the front third, and while the view was decent, the cramped staging made it hard to fully engage with the show. It felt like a missed opportunity for the kind of spectacle this production is known for.Additionally, the sound quality left much to be desired. It felt as though all the speakers were concentrated in the front area, which created a flat, one-dimensional audio experience. The surround sound effect that usually enhances such a grand production was notably absent, making it difficult to fully immerse myself in the music and dialogue.Furthermore, the staffing seemed insufficient. There weren’t enough attendants to help patrons find their seats, which led to a bit of confusion and frustration as people shuffled around. Even during the performance, it would have been nice to have someone circulating to ensure the audience remained quiet and engaged.Overall, while The Fox Theater has a storied history and often hosts fantastic Broadway shows, I’m not sure if I’ll rush back anytime soon. I hope they consider making some adjustments to the stage, sound system, and staffing for future productions to enhance the experience for audiences.

I took my granddaughter and sister to see The Lion King. Upon entering the Fox Theatre the line was moving quickly. The ushers were welcoming and strategically placed to answer questions, provide directions to your seat, or whatever else was needed. We were directed to the extra magic bags which contained a large and colorful program. We had seats that were six rows from the stage. The performance was outstanding; two curtain calls of outstanding. My granddaughter's eyes were round saucers and her mouth never closed in awe. That made the experience all the more satisfying. After the curtain calls, all exits were opened to allow for a steady flow out of the theatre. A wonderful time was had by all.

Wonderful experience during a comedy show. Very nice staff and it was easy to navigate through, even on a really busy night. They serve drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) and popcorn. I didn’t see other foods but I also didn’t wait in line. The building was clean and they have a smoking area. The surround sound and TV screens were working well and we heard/saw the comedian very clearly. We prepaid parking and it was pretty simple to get to and from our parking space at the venue.

I have always wanted to visit the Fox Theater and am so glad to have finally made it there! The entire approach and entrance are absolutely beautiful. I felt like there was so much that needed to be seen before we enjoyed the show that brought us there. It really takes you back in time to imagine all the greats that performed in the theater. The theater which looked like the skies surrounding Alladin's Castle. Aside from the beauty of it all, the ushers were all very helpful and kind, and seemed glad to be there. If you ever get the opportunity to visit and take a look around - do it! You will not be disappointed.

The theater is beautiful and overall it’s usually a good time, but they really need to fix their audio. I have seen Hamilton and Wicked there and both were so quiet in parts you could not hear the lyrics. These shows are premium tickets and there is no reason to have to struggle to hear. New audio would make this theater 5 stars for sure. Overall, all it’s a good venue.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a world-renowned botanical garden located in Midtown Atlanta. It features prominent exhibitions spanning 30 acres of lush gardens with unique and awe-inspiring flora and fauna. Nearby Piedmont Park provides easy access for residents and visitors to enjoy the botanical gardens stunning scenery and tranquil environment.
Nice and quiet, peaceful but a lot of walking, lots of places to sit and relax and lot of small hills and ups and downs throughout. There is lots of flowers and beautiful scenery everywhere overall it's worth the time. Make sure you bring some water with you and good walking shoes, it's so worth the trip to see everything that's there, plan to spend 4 or more hours there. There is a restaurant inside and lots of water fountains that really don't work, but if you bring an empty container there are places you can fill them up with water.

The experience at the Atlanta Botanical Garden was phenomenal! My favorite sections were the orchid house and the edible garden. The high elevator orchid exhibit has many very rare and special orchids that are tiny - including some pitcher plants as well. The layout of the entire garden is wonderful for meandering around on a nice day and I was surprised at how uncrowded each exhibit was despite coming at a peak weekend time.We came during the day so we missed the Christmas lights, but I hear they are gorgeous and seem to be sprinkled throughout garden in unexpected and delightful ways.As a native Californian was wasn’t too surprised by the cactus garden. The dry heat of the exhibit was a nice way to start our day because it was a bit chilly when we first arrived. The larger suspension bridge section was beautiful and has seats so you can sit and enjoy the views.I was happy that the rose garden was still blooming but I definitely think that this falls off the closer to winter that we get. This would be perfect for families to bring their kids - in fact there is a train that goes round the plaza near the orchid promenade.Parking was inexpensive (~5$) and admission was less than 60$ for two people. If I lived in town I would certainly get a membership and pay for the parking pass to reduce the cost of coming regularly.10/10 would come again!

The staff are all friendly and helpful. There are so much to see, especially now when the Alice exhibit has returned. It is most excellent! Most paths correspond with the labelled map provided at the main entrance. However, in some areas there needs to be more signage, like how to get to the Earth Goddess (not a lot of people know it as the Cascade Garden). The fork before didn’t have enough clear indication. I would love to take the guided tour, but I believed the website said there is only one daily at 10:30am. I would definitely come back again for another visit.

What a gem for the community! The gardens are very well maintained with paths that wander all over the place, delighting you with the view around every new corner. The staff at the restaurant are excellent and the food choices were unexpectedly high end. Although we just had a snack and a beer, service was attentive and the food was delicious. I would definitely try this as a dinner venue.

A well maintained botanical garden inside the heart of Atlanta. It’s worth a visit for locals and visitors. Currently they are showcasing Alice in wonderland exhibit. I love their detail oriented to make sure that a person with wheelchair can see whole garden easily. Parking can be challenging on the weekends. They do have a few designated EV chargers available. We spent about 3 hours enjoying our time.

This is my happy place, if you have time to kill and don't want to be indoors, head here. Lots of walking, lots of benches for not walking, plenty space for little & big ones to runaround. Take a book, journal, get some food, enjoy life. They have rotating exhibits that add a new flare for each visit. Well worth the money, highly recommend.

My visit to the Atlanta Botanical Garden was absolutely amazing. This place is a true gem, offering an immersive experience for nature lovers. During the day, you get to enjoy the beauty of their extensive collection of plants, with some of the most breathtaking flowers and greenery I’ve ever seen. What makes it even more special is the potential it has at night. While I didn’t stay after dark, it’s clear that the way they light up the trees transforms the garden into something magical. I can imagine it being a whole different world at night with the lighting, making it worth experiencing both during the day and after sunset. If you’re ever in Atlanta, I highly recommend visiting this garden—it’s a peaceful escape that leaves a lasting impression.

Fantastic! Spent all day here, enjoying the flowers and displays. There was a scarecrow exhibition going on that was creative & fun. The grounds are well laid out and nicely tended. A couple of times garden staff heard us wondering about something and they answered our questions. You could tell they clearly have pride in their work. Beautiful.

Really nice botanical gardens. The themed Alice in Wonderland was pretty cool. Like a scavenger hunt for the decorated statue things. Lots to see and walk around, especially if you like plants. The indoor tropical plant houses were really cool, got to see some frogs and turtles. But lots of really cool flowers and unique plants. Definitely makes me want to buy some fancy plants and grow them. The skybridge walk across the road was really cool and very unsuspecting. I had no idea that bridge was that cool driving underneath it. Lots of shade on that side of the park.

I visit Atlanta at least once a year and no trip is complete without a visit to the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Sure, there are many things to see and do in Atlanta, but for my money the beauty and serenity found here is matchless.Amongst the many regular things to see (like the Earth Goddess) there’s always something new happening. This last visit showcased a flock of scarecrows placed all over the grounds! Such fun!Next time you’re in Atlanta, stop by, relax and amble around this amazing space nestled in the city!

This is a beautiful garden with winding trails and plenty of places to stop and enjoy nature. I loved the special area for children that offered creative activities and a small park for the kids to play. The flowers were gorgeous and there are plenty of restrooms throughout the park. When you go, stop in to the edible garden where there is an onsite chef that prepares lovely sample recipes with the vegetables grown onsite. The adult admission is $29.95, which in my humble opinion is a bit pricey, but this is Atlanta. Overall enjoyed my time at the garden.

People of all ages really enjoy the sights to the garden!I was so excited to see Alice in Wonderland return.I will say with the heat we are experiencing, I highly advise bringing some water and a fan with you. There are maps available when you first start your adventure that can double as a fan 😉 You can easily be here for around 2 hours without noticing! It’s a wonderful place to take aesthetic pictures as well.

The gardens was clean and pretty. The trails were walkable and there was plenty of seating all throughout. The big exhibits (Alice in Wonderland) were the best part to me. Other than the exotic plants and the conservatory, I think I have a good bit of the same plants in my backyard. They were arranged nice though.I think Botanical Gardens in general just aren’t my cup of tea, but I was also really frustrated walking around. The exhibit names didn’t all match the map so it was hard to figure out where on the map I was and signage was lacking, to say the least. There were several other people I saw and talked to who had the same issue.

I came here specifically to see the Earth Goddess in all of her glory. I was not disappointed. They had the Halloween decorations out and about and several of them represented different "celebrity" or movie characters. It was entertaining to see. We enjoyed it all so much. I swear there were about 30,000 pumpkins there. The Rain Forest exhibits were amazing. I was in awe at almost every turn. The edible garden was nice but a bit bland. I bet it's gorgeous out here at nightfall.

What an outstanding way to spend the day! We went for the first time today with all three kids and everyone had a blast. There are so many amazing things to see like the Earth Goddess, the suspension bridge (canopy walk), the singing flowers, and so much more. The greenhouses are jam packed with crazy plants, and everything in the entire park is just so well maintained. It truly is a plant lovers dream!Pro Tip: Definitely consider bringing a backpack with water. When it's sunny out, you're gonna feel it!

This place was stunning!! The Alice in Wonderland theme was amazing. All of the plants were lush and green. I was shocked by how amazing this place was. I 100% recommend coming here. All of the greenery was breathtaking, and I can tell that tons of love goes into maintaining it. The gardens are so intricate, and I wouldn't be lying if I said that I didn't see even one wilted leaf. It was my favorite stop in all of Atlanta, and you should definitely stop there.

If you want to kill time and spend it sightseeing with family, I HIGHLY recommend this place! There is so much to see. They have beautifully organized rows of all kinds of plants and flowers. Truly such an impressive sight to see. The variety of plants is amazing! They have multiple different gardens, each are super unique. They also have different greenhouses as well, they had an orchid one, a desert one, and a tropical one. They are so immersive, it felt as though I had walked into Pandora from Avatar.

Stunning. The plant sculptures were gorgeous and so creative. The bridge walk through the woods was refreshing. Certainly, summer in Atlanta is hot; however, there were several buildings scattered throughout the grounds to go into and cool off. Wearing lightweight breathable clothing would be wise. I appreciated that there were plenty of restrooms and water fountains.

I have never been here for you before so I cannot say for sure but I think it is well worth it to go and they have a thing going on. Currently it is the Alice in Wonderland theme and it is out of this world. The garden was extremely expensive and if it was not so hot we probably could have stayed here longer but we did end up staying here for about 5 hours which was plenty of time. On the weekend they have a cooking demonstration which was a nice break from the heat. There's definitely something for everybody here and for anybody who's into herpetology they also have turtles. They offer military discount which was very nice. Parking was extremely long so we were happy we walked. The only downside is that you can only reenter if it is less than 15 minutes from when you leave. This was not idea. Overall though. I had a great time.

Incredible experience. So glad I got to see the Alice exhibit and the glass art exhibits! The orchid house is gorgeous, a must see. Great walk, probably two or so hours for the whole place at a mid moderate pase. Probably longer with children but they did have a big grass area with live kids music and activities. The Lillie's were a great sight too! So much beautiful art spread around, especially the glass chandelier.

Beautiful plant life, art and exhibits. You could easily spend 3 to 4 hours here. Fall was also the perfect time to come in my honest opinion. Only drawback here was the food. We wanted to eat at a restaurant but they were hosting a wedding. We were then shown to the snack cart and my sandwich was very soggy. Don’t go for the food obviously.

I visit Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield Park often, and it’s always a great experience. The trails are beautifully maintained, offering a perfect blend of scenic nature and fascinating history. One thing I appreciate is how clean the bathrooms are, which is a huge plus after spending time on the trails. The staff are always so friendly and make the entrance process smooth and on time, even during busier days. The views from the top never get old—they’re absolutely stunning. It was a fun trail and hike. I went early, so parking was not a problem. On the way back to the car, I saw NPS employees checking for cars for passes. I added Pigeon Hill to my hike, which has many deer nearby. There are lots of steep/strenuous areas, so bring plenty of water!

Late afternoon stroll through the fascinating woods at Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield National ParkThe Noses Creek and Hardage Mil area was new to us and we appreciated both the beauty as well as the historyThere is a short connecting trail that follows alongside a creek at the base of the Dead Angle field on Cheatham Hill where the Illinois Monument is located. Along that trail are two of the most magnificent trees in the 2965 acre park. They’re both about the same size though one has it’s massive moss covered roots exposed.

Visitor center is really nice. Has a short film about the battle I found pretty touching. They have a first rate museum with a lot of items that are significant to the battle and Sherman’s campaign to capture Atlanta. There did not seem to be a lot in the way of interpretation on most of the trails other than a few plaques, but the visiting the “Dead Angle” and knowing what happened there is a really sobering experience.

They seem quite apologetic and even celebratory of confederate war nostalgia, under the guise of "history". This is evidenced by their various monuments and historical markers that attempt to subtley depict the losing pro-slavery racist condederates as heroes whose deeds are somehow worthy of respect or rememberance. Utter gaslighting nonsense. A better monument would be to the countless slaves that were forced to undergo neverending unpaid labor under horrible conditions for their entire lives, to the sole benefit of the ruthless, unenlightened brutal confederates.

It's so peaceful, lots of tree's and it's so cool. People running, walking and enjoying life. And the wild life. Nothing like eating your lunch and a snake come over to talk to you. Priceless.

I purposely went to the park late in the afternoon, so I expected parking to be a pain, which it was. I really love visiting national park units though (40+ and counting), so it wasn't the worst thing in the world. I was there to hike anyway, but I used my America the Beautiful pass to cover the parking fee. From the overflow parking lot, I bee-lined to the Visitor Center to get a map and my stamp. After that, I immediately started the 1-mile hike up the main trail to the summit. The trail started to ascend almost immediately and it's very rocky, so pace yourself if you need to. There aren't a huge number of benches along the trail, but the trails are extremely well marked.Overall, this park is honestly one of the best maintained units I've ever seen, but I have to assume it's because of the number of locals who visit. Seeing it in spring is probably the best part because of all the beautiful flowering trees.Shameless plug: I visit all kinds of parks and share them on my IG @domsdillydallies if you're interested!

We only had about an hour to spend here but enjoyed the museum. I really like the battle field log with the cannon balls embedded in them, very cool. Didn't have enough time to hike too far, but the trails looked very nice from what we saw.

This was my first time hiking the trail, and I loved it. The facility at the parking area was clean. The trail is well maintained. The informational placards along the trail were a pleasant surprise.

Historical places are always a great place to find inspiration and reflection. There were some interesting lessons here along the self guided trails. Lots of walking and running, and families spending time together, while engaging in discussions about nature and history. We will co.e and spend more time here on our next trip to Atlanta.

Beautiful hike, nice views and you can bring dogs! Good incline on the way up. Almost 3 miles from top to bottom.

Great park to hike in the shade. Love that you can feel a million miles away from the city so easily.

Such a beautiful, peaceful place! The trail is not for the faint of heart but there are plenty of benches along the way to take a rest break lol. Didn't make it to the top because my time was cut short, but now I have more than enough reasons to come back again!!

The Gone with the Wind Museum at Brumby Hall is a small yet impressive museum showcasing a vast collection of memorabilia related to the famous novel and movie by Margaret Mitchell. Visitors can admire rare prints, costumes, autographs, books, and photographs that shed light on the history and behind-the-scenes of the film's making. The gift shop is well-stocked with merchandise, while outside gardens offer a pleasing view.
Don't miss this! The house itself was delightful. It's only four rooms but one of the rooms has floor-to-ceiling Windows there's magnificent molding and wainscoting and furniture and it's just delightful but I learned so much about the movie gone with the wind and the author Margaret Mitchell. I loved it and I'm so glad I didn't miss it. And then I walked around and the gardens are beautiful.

Well designed, rooms throughout did a great display of authentic pieces. The botanical gardens were gorgeous. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Inexpensive and easy to tour as well.

This place is small but worth the $10 admission. The exhibits are neat, I learned a lot, the staff was friendly, and the gardens are so pretty (and it's only April 27).

I was visiting from out of town and had some time to kill before an afternoon wedding. I saw a brochure for this museum in my hotel and it intrigued me. Lovely collection of books, correspondence, scripts, studio items, costumes, autographs and more. It can easily be toured in an hour or so and still feeling like you’re taking it all in. Small gift shop. Cheap admission. Definitely worth the visit!

Absolutely loved this place. It's not huge by any means but plenty to look at and the garden areas are very nice to walk through and admire thee hard work that goes into keeping it looking good. How they open the upstairs up with more attractions. Can't beat it for the price. So if you're in the area stop on in and give it a look. You ain't be disappointed.

If you are a fan of the movie, you will enjoy. It had a large amount of very cool memorabilia and movie paraphernalia.

I'm a 62 year old female and I loved the small museum.😁.A must see. Bring your reading glasses and a charged phone for pictures of the beautiful gowns 💕.The parking area is a bit confusing. You park in the hotel parking lot area, then walk over to the museum. Not a long walk. Go!
Valerie B — Google review
So there was no clear signage telling you where to park so I pulled in the driveway and parked next to the building but was told I needed to move even though there was literally almost no one there {one couple other than me at the time). There are placards throughout the museum that were created by the collector for the museum but clearly their English skills are lacking because there are many mistakes on the placards throughout the museum that really need to be corrected so it doesn't look like an uneducated child wrote them. Someone really needs to do a better job of placement and lighting for the displays throughout the museum (there was even a very nice painting just sitting in the floor of the hallway coming in the building). Overall the museum is rather boring not enough to make it worth a special trip for certain. As disappointing as the visit was overall it's clear to see why they have very little traffic that comes through the museum at all. Unless you are already in town and have nothing better to do, do not go out of your way to visit this place or you will be disappointed.

I LOVED seeing and touching the replica dresses!!! the rest of the museum and gift shop were great. Loved all of it and it should be 5 stars but1 star off because they have the green and blue dress and they are NOT displayed because they "need mannequins" they were just closed for a couple months this should have been thought about.2. The staff anything I asked I was redirected to go to the Marietta History museum because it was really cool, but they never even told me why also come on at least TRY!! Also they were all just chatting like .....

I've been a die-hard GWTW fan and most especially a huge Vivien Leigh fan since I was in middle school... yeah, a long time ago. The obsession had waned over the years, but visiting this place had me wanting to pop in the movie, never mind reenacting every scene from memory....I said obsessed, right? I was very impressed with the collection, which is more extensive than I thought it would be. A treat for any fan!

Great place for Gone with the wind fans. I was though thinking that the house which is museum now was used in the movie but I realized after my visit that the movie was filmed fully in Hollywood! But anyway here is a unique collection.

This is a small museum, but it is packed full of wonderful items and loads of history! Great collection of movie memorabilia, photographs, autographs, books, and costumes (though some are reproductions, all are beautiful.) We learned so much about Margaret Mitchell and some of the "behind the scenes" of the making of 'Gone With the Wind'. Also a very well-stocked gift shop, and gorgeous gardens outside. Highly recommend:)

People may call it too small but it was perfect for us. We spent about 30 minutes inside. Scarlett's gorgeous dresses, movie premiere programs signed by the actors, original telegrams and letters and also a room dedicated to the novel author herself. Beautiful gardens as well! They also have a nice gift shop and the ladies are very helpful.

Marietta Square is a charming city park, bordered by restaurants and shops, featuring a replica of the Liberty Bell, benches and a fountain. Visitors can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with live music, browsing through numerous vendors' stores or simply relaxing on one of the benches. The surrounding murals add to the park's aesthetic appeal. Free 2-hour parking is available nearby for convenience.
This visit was a pleasant surprise. We visited thinking just a quaint little town with lots of shops, etc., but there was a full blown Festival happening! So much to do and see, so many little shops and vendors, live music, eating, browsing, buying, watching or just hanging out. We were traveling from Ohio and had toddlers to teens + our pooch and there was something for everyone. Great job little town of Marietta Square ❤🐕

Marietta Square is such a charming place to spend an afternoon! There are so many unique shops to explore, from boutiques to antique stores, and a great variety of local restaurants and cafes. The square is beautifully maintained and perfect for a leisurely walk. Whether you're browsing, people-watching, or just enjoying the historic atmosphere, it’s a great spot to relax and unwind. The lively events and farmer’s markets they host also add to the appeal. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience the heart of Marietta!

So many things to do at the city center of my hometown! The Strand Theater is still right there on the corner! There is a playground for the kids to enjoy, and there are public restrooms (real ones, not port-a-potty!) There are restaurants and bars all around the square. Social events are held frequently here. I was most recently here on behalf of Team Trivia filling in to run the weekly Trivia Game at Red Hare - The Still on the Square. Great bunch of folks there to enjoy a fun game of Trivia!

Only had a few minutes to stroll around the square in Marietta. It is a quaint town with a variety of shops and restaurants. The last time I was there (a few years ago), I felt there were more shops whereas now there seem to be more eating places. Also the concert in the middle of the square is a unique idea. Always enjoy visiting Marietta!

Chalktoberfest at the Marietta Square is arguably my favorite event each year! Benefiting and sponsored by the Marietta Museum of Art, local businesses sponsor artists from around the world to showcase their creativity. Plenty of eats and drinks are available at the mainstay restaurants and pop-up tents. Additionally, local shops are open for business, along with artisans here for the festivities. A “must see” event!!

I always have such a great time when visiting Marietta square. So many restaurants and bars that are in walking distance of each other. The square itself is a great place to grab a bench and people watch or read. I visited for Chalktober fest, breakfast, and a book club meeting this week and every time was a different experience. There is a bookstore, magic shop, art studios, boutique shops and places to eat all around the square.

Marietta Square is a fantastic spot, especially when they host events – everything is always well-organized and clean. Beyond that, it’s a great place to bring your family, as it’s both pet and kid-friendly. There’s a wonderful variety of restaurants to choose from, along with charming local shops to explore. Whether you’re looking to grab a bite, do some shopping, or just relax outside, Marietta Square has something for everyone. Highly recommend!

There's always something going on at The Marietta Square! Many festivals and evening concerts are scheduled throughout the year, along with farmer's markets. Check out The Strand (theater) & their schedule as well, and so many cool places to shop and eat. Was super worried about the mature tree removal around the perimeter (roots pushing up sidewalks) but it already is looking great again!

I visited Marietta Square while on a trip from Silver City, NM. I loved the shops and found my car loaded with bags of goodies to take home. AND before leaving, snapped some pictures of me and my family in the gazebo in the center of the square.

The Six Flags White Water water park is spread across 40 acres and offers a wide range of attractions for young kids, including slides and a fantasy tree house. Although the park can get crowded at times with long wait times for rides, visitors can purchase a platinum fast pass to reduce their wait time. Some of the rides may be closed due to maintenance issues but those that are open provide ample entertainment.
All the staff were so friendly! I saw this life guard and with her quick decision she was able to help this little boy out when he looked like he was struggling from the dragon tail ride. I haven’t been here since I was 7. I am now 31 and man let me tell you I felt like a kid again. Thank you guys my family really enjoyed themselves today!

We absolutely love this place!!! I recommend buying the flash pass!! The 1st day without flash pass we only ride 6 rides the next day with flash pass we ride a 100 times!! Just be careful because peons get abbey when you ride 4 times while they have been in line an hour but hey you got to pay to play 😁😉 we enjoyed the tornado the most and the python plunge!! I will warn you hours have changed they close at 6 during week which I want told when I bought flash pass at 3 so that upset me but this park is awesome with great employees not rude at all!! A few rides are closed and the lazy river because they don't have enough employees 🙄 😒 come on kiddos go to work!!

We got season passes when they were on sale, so I'm not too bad dissatisfied with our trip. The lazy river had no floats to spare, so it wasn't very lazy. The Bahama Bob sled is a very fun family rode, but the line takes well over an hour for.one trip down since the floats have so many issues riding the conveyer belt back up.Kids loved the wave pool, and the splash area/skull island are very cute.Several rides closed, but I'm not sure if that would have helped to line issues?

We have been visiting World of Illumination lightshows from past few years and its always a fun place to visit with family and friends. My daughter loves the music synced lights and their music selections.I highly recommend buying tickets online in advance as this year, we saw them kicking people out since they didn't have tickets and all slots were sold out. Sometimes you'll find tickets in local Costco for a bit cheaper. Also, I'd recommend you visit this early in Nov, Dec or after Christmas. avoid last few days before Christmas if you don't wann wait in lines for hours.

2yr Diamond Elite Member:An awesome experience went 4 times in a week and it's 2 hrs away but my daughter and I had a blast. A suggestion expansion of the Diamond Area & was refused entry through the Diamond entry but that wasn't the parks fault that a single employee didn't want to do her job but still an amazing time.

Very busy on weekends!due to heavy traffic we decided to park in nearby complex. It was so crowded. Not clean, very less trash cans.Food is super expensive.Bathrooms are dirty. Not enough tubes, you will have to wait, long lines for rides.A lot of kids were wearing regular diapers or no diapers at all.My suggestions -I would say go on weekdays if you want to go, weekends with kids is not a good idea.Order a full pizza, that’s cheap and best. Please order Food atleast 40mins ahead of time, as they have long queues.Carry kids food and drinks , it’s allowed as long as it’s not a lot.Carry water shoes!

First off, let me say this definitely not worth spending a day or half of that trying to find a manager in the park when everyone says on a busy Saturday, which normally there are managers around the park there are no managers. Absolutely terrible employee awareness, concern, and recognition of a customer issue that seems to be, not just in this instance but in other situations. Let me tell you this do not buy a flash pass at the park. You will be very misinformed and lead to believe that buying the ultimate which is $125 plus an $85 deposit on a watch, you will get back when you return allow you to skip the line in front of other flash pass guest who have premium which is the middle and standard these. When you deal with children who pretty much work at this park, you get unresolved issues and get run all around all over the place trying to find general managers of some caliber in the park when dealing with the customer complaint or they would rather get security on you when the situation doesn’t even warrant.Overall, beware when you do buy a flash pass because though we spent an extra $125 plus the $85 on the ultimate flash pass we had to wait in line and we’re not able to cut in front of the line as they told us when we bought the passes, very deceptive tactics and it wasn’t until we met a Mr. Ingram who is the manager of food service at the town hall building where management seems to hide instead of walking around the park on a busy Saturday he was the one who was able to address the issue to rectify the situation and getting us a full refund of the passes as well as having the manager talk to us, provided us with free beverages and also gave us tickets to the holiday season Six Flags entry to Halloween or the holiday season access. It honestly would be better for Six Flags to have one tier of a flash pass that benefits paying extra, and just having everyone have the same band across-the-board, and not the tears because the lifeguards and other ride entry attendance are not aware of the policy of the flash pass and can’t hold Any account what belongs to what you end up standing in a line of flash people once your bracelet is scanned and it really doesn’t benefit you to pay all that money to have a an ultimate flash pass just get a standard and by the time you get through the fast pass it will be time for you to ride. Also, you will pay $30 for parking so unless you are a season-ticket holder, will you get benefits from the park because entry is about $70 plus $30 for parking plus fast pass tears from about 1.25 and below.Mr. Ingram, who definitely should be considered for an assistant park manager overall definitely helps to rectify the situation and also provide some sort of understanding of how the flash pass would be beneficial which definitely needs to be when there are more than a couple hundred people in the park when there is a park full of people that is sold out that is when the pass comes into benefit

Everything was cool except the food; we walked to one restaurant first that had only hot dogs and sausages and heard another family complaining about their food so we immediately left and went to another place which was okay. The chicken tenders and fries were good but the footlong corn dog had been sitting and was definitely fried in old grease it was really gross. Will definitely try other restaurants next time and hopefully they’re better since we have season passes…. Some of the things were closed but we get that it was opening weekend…

The lines started before the park even opened. Sat in traffic for 40 mins. Once got in, were able to get on two slides with kids. Lines are long and the later in the day the worst it gets. Wasn't worth paying over 250$ for. Will not be going back. You have people wearing things that shouldn't be allowed around kids much less a family oriented place.

The food staff walk around chatting with their co-worker while the food lines get longer and long. I waited in line for a drink for over 10 mins while the staff looked at me. Then there was no ice for the drinks. All the food is I. The warming windows but no one can seem to turn around to get it out. They are to busy taking to each other. We will never do this again. The level of disregard and lack of interest to help customer is astonishing. This is just one example but this is the entire park. We were at amusement park yesterday same type of demeanor. My hope is that Cedar Point Emterprise now that they have purchased Six Flags can bring the level of professional up significant.
Christopher R — Google review
We arrived right when they opened on a Sunday, so we were able to enjoy quite a few rides before the lines became long. By 2 pm, the biggest rides had significant waits. The kiddie section is fantastic with a good selection of activities, which was great as I could take my 3-year-old grandson there while the older kids went with their mothers. My advice would be to buy a season pass in advance, as a free parking pass is included. It was a short 1.5 hour drive to Marietta from Chattanooga early in the morning, so you can return again and again. If you buy online, a daily pass is $29 and the Platinum season pass is $110. You get a 10% discount on food with a season pass. Look online as they have lots of specials. We decided that the next time we would rent a cabana as the lounge chairs are in very short supply. For food, we bought 3 orders of chicken tenders and fries. It was $51, but generous helpings that served 4 people and the tenders and fries were hot and crispy. The food exceeded my expectations. Lifeguards are plentiful and helpful. An overall great experience!

Bought annual passes to both parks and visited whitewater yesterday. The line to get in moved fairly quickly and is partially shaded so that was nice. The lines for the rides were all long as expected. The food is crazy expensive! They hardly had any floats in the lazy river so we basically had to sprint through it lol. That was very disappointing because it’s already so packed out there’s nowhere to sit to rest your feet for a few, we were looking forward to the “lazy” part.Getting in the parking lot is a nightmare. People will cut you off in line and there’s no staff out to control stupidity.

I enjoyed the whole park it was great but they need to work better on two things that made my day longer than it should’ve. They need to organize better on the raft rides I spent around an hour waiting to get in Tornado. The other rides that weren’t in a raft I didn’t even wait 15 minutes. Also they need to have somebody watching or attending the fast pass line because many were using that line as a way to skip the line. Other than that I enjoyed everything in the park. Can’t comment on food since I ate outside the park.

We went to the World of illumination. It was absolutely fantastic. The lights were so beautiful and went so well to the music that they played. We did not wait too long when we were going through the line to enter and we literally went two days before they were ending the light show. We also got the four pack 3-D glasses Which some of the kids enjoyed but some of them didn’t like them they just wanted to watch them without the 3-D glasses. Definitely doing this again next year.

It is a lot of fun! Weekend is crowded. The tornado ride took 1 hour in the queue. The experience was great. I love the wave pool and lazy river. Recommend for family or a group of friends.

Always a lot of fun. I wish things were a little better organized. It would be great if everyone didn't take up 6 chairs for a part of 2. Several rides closed for maintenance/lack of staff to operate them. The last river was open this year which was nice. Most of the staff enjoy their job.I'm puzzled about the "fast pass". Several rides had the fast pass line closed. Why charge people a premium to get a "fast pass" then close the line... But only close the line to those that follow the rules? Those that disregard the closed line still get to jump in front of others that paid for the fast pass and are allowed to do so!I'll never buy the fast pass again and would suggest that others don't after what I saw today. If the food was reasonably priced for what you get in sure sales would be much better, I guess the idea is people won't come but once a year and will forget how terrible most of it is..

We had so much fun here!! They have a great selection of slides and attractions, you could easily spend the whole day there. The water was super clean and not too heavy on chemicals. Parking was great as well, and walking in and exiting the parking lot was a breeze. The one thing that was disappointing is the lack of cleanliness. It looks like the lockers have literally never, ever been cleaned. I didn't feel comfortable touching them at all. You can also expect the food to be expensive. If that matters, definitely bring your own as well as a refillable water bottle.Overall it's worth the trip and worth coming back!

We’ve been only at one area of the park and can’t wait to come back to see other parts of it and to swim in it again! People can do boating there as well (as we saw many open lake areas where the boats were allowed, safely separated from areas where people can swim). Very relaxing and stunning nature scenery! We are absolutely in love with this mesmerizing place. 🥰❤️

So far one of my favorite GA state parks. It’s nice and secluded near Acworth. You drive over the lake which gives great views. There’s a few trails here I’ve down 2 of them! If you go early on a Sunday it’s nice and peaceful. I also saw a lot of people fishing.I’ve been here twice and would definitely go back. The trails aren’t too difficult mostly flat.

Great spots with lots of room. We were in site 88 and FULL hook ups. A couple things is the family bathroom drainage needs to be fixed. My daughter and I were walking in water after our showers and the yurts are a bit far from a nearby bathroom for the price.

My wife and I started our hike early in the morning, the weather is a cool awesome 72 degrees. The views of the lake and forest is relaxing as we hiked. We see numerous squirrels, deer with birds ⁹sing in the trees. There is numerous places to sit on benches or tables to admire the views and wild life. There is a visitors center there with restrooms, interesting supplies like shirts, hats, and reading material. There is playgrounds around the visitor center for kids to play onThere is old farming equipment and old homes that you can see. There are some trails that have asphalt on them for ease of travel and others are dirt, with numerous tree roots exposed on the ground surface, which requires more caution as not to fall or trip. The staff is friendly with knowledge of the area. We purchased our annual parking pass there. If you are over 65 years old you can get the annual pass for a discount price. This is a place to relax and enjoy nature

It’s been a couple years since I’ve camped here, in fact, before the construction occurred. Love all the pathways they’ve put in from sites to the bathrooms. And speaking of bathrooms…what a nice upgrade to all the ones beyond the premium sites. A lot of work has been done and I was really excited to see it. Of course there’s tons of walking trails and of course your chance of seeing deer is pretty high.We actually stayed at the lovely site 5, which also has sewer (sites 2-12). Just note that sites 8-12 have a lot more sun now due to the sewer installation. The park desperately needs to update pictures of all the sites so you can accurately see the site you are paying for and not be disappointed when arriving.

The park ranger must spread perfect kindle wood. The trading post is 5 star, great people, and unique merchandise. Trail, sites, lakes, scenic roads, and catch the exit bridge turn around and stay again. Plus, secured gate 24hr. 360 a year I'm in, favorite ever, senic, well keeped, and professional.

My new favorite Georgia State Park. Lake Allatoona and Red Top Mountain State Park have never looked better. Check out the Lakeside Trail for easy access, stroller & grandparent friendly. Paved and relatively flat. Stunning views of the water. Park at the main visitor center and the Lakeside Trail is right there. Bartow County in Cartersville has sponsored a Storybook Walk along this 3/4 mile trail. Just adorable and a way to keep the kids moving. You will see a homestead, farm equipment, a dog trot run cabin, playground equipment, swings, benches, picnic tables, a floating dock and more. Cannot recommend this trail and state park enough. Everything for everyone.

Great park. Only went for the afternoon, but hope to come back and go camping. A lot of lovely areas to enjoy. There is also a beach spot to get in the water. Clean!

Beautiful place to take a hike, swim, or stop to read a book on a nice day. There are many different types of trails, access to water for kayaking or paddle boarding, and many areas have benches to rest or picnic tables for family picnics. If you park at the main entrance with the gift shop, there are restrooms, a playground, and some historical areas to look at. There is a $5 admission fee for parking. If you are military or a veteran, they offer a discount on the annual pass which will also give you access to other state parks in GA. They do also have a trading most (maybe more than one, but we only went into one on this trip), where there are restrooms, drinks, snacks, etc.

This state park was great. First of its right off of Highway 75. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We didn’t get to stay along we were just passing by. The views were great, clean restrooms and trails for every level. There was a beach area for swimming. Cottages are also available. I wish we would have had more time. We’ll definitely go back. A definite must stop. The entry fee was only $5.00 and everything stays open until dark.

A great place to take the family for a weekend in nature. A gorgeous lake to take the family to for some fun and fishing. I highly recommend Redtop Mountain park to the weekend nature enthusiasts and novice campers also. So many trails and areas to explore. Fun for the whole family

Red Top Mountain state park is great for family fun time! It has activities for all age ranges. There’s a man-made beach for families with little kids; plenty of hiking trails , Marina for people who enjoy boating in the Allatoona lake, picnic areas with gazebos/covered sheds and barbecue grills. There’s plenty of parking as well. Families can spend all day in one of these areas. For those who like to stay overnight, there are cabins to rent. It’s a beautiful state park with water all around.

Absolutely beautiful and a great staff. The lots are amazing with a large variation to pick from. Roads are narrow, and the park is not well established for large units. Some pull through spots with full service connections that served us well. Do not navigate an RV in the dark due to hazzards.

It's a great place for children n families but if I love the water like I do I wouldn't suggest. I love to swim n this place ends the roped off part for an adult about waist deep now. I personally do not like it BUT I found a new beach in elejay called Harris branch beach that is GREAT FOR ADULT SWIMMERS that enjoy the water!!! I will never go back to rocky mtn project Beach. Not even RLLY worth the 5 bucks to get in.

Very beautiful scenery. There are both mountains and lakes. You can take a trail, kayak or rent a boat. You can escape the heat in the summer and see the red leaves in the autumn. Like it very much.
Mingzhe H — Google review
It’s a beautiful park. There are many places to fish, jet skiing, go boating, and there is a man made beach. It is more peaceful and cleaner than Allatoona Lake. The park has an African American history. There are photos which can be seen in their event house or on a history board at the playground. The park visitors were of various cultures. It was nice to see a melting pot of people enjoy this beautiful park!

The fish really like my blue and white swimsuit, so I know what lures to use the next time I decide to go fishing. The water is clear enough near the shore that you can watch the smaller fish swimming around.

Stone Mountain Park is a picturesque and expansive area with plenty of activities. Visitors can enjoy golfing, lodging, and a cable car ride to the top of the historic carved peak. The hike up the mountain provides an excellent workout while offering stunning views of the surrounding scenery. A store located at the top provides refreshments and snacks, while an outside area allows visitors to appreciate more beautiful views. Stone Mountain Park is highly recommended for anyone seeking a destination with breathtaking scenery and panoramic vistas.
The mountain was clean, it was a pretty good hike for us. The walk up trail was good, we were lucky to see a white tailed deer on the way up. The mountain is completely granite, it's smooth. A good grip shoe helps to get control while to get up the last part of the trail. There is a small snack bar in the top, good hot chocolate and popcorn served. You can get tram tickets as well..

Great place to spend time with family with lots of activities to do. 4D movie experience was awesome. Tram to top of the Stone Mountain is worth doing. Dinotorium is fun filled place for kids of all ages. Just be aware they will close the park if it thunder bolts within 15 miles of park. Park is huge, it will several trips to visit all the places.

The views in Stone Mountain Park were breathtaking. There are so many trails and areas to visit. I do recommend driving to the different trails because the park is huge and they are all very spaced out. The mountain is very impressive in person! Unfortunately, the majority of the attractions and restaurants were closed, including the train. Kayaks require reservation and we’re fully booked for the duration of our trip. Parking is $20 and $40 for the whole year which is a great deal.

Ascending on a cable car to the summit of the stone mountain, the journey unveils intricate stone carvings that tell stories of the past, adding a cultural touch to the adventure. Reaching the summit, a beautiful view awaits. Be vigilant while walking on the mountain, there’s few steep slopes. Whether engaging in recreational activities or enjoying a leisurely picnic, the majestic surroundings create a perfect backdrop for a fun-filled day. The harmonious blend of nature, art, and entertainment makes this park retreat an ideal destination for those seeking a memorable and diverse experience.

Stone Mountain, a massive monolith with a Confederate carving, can be accessed by cable car. While some attractions may be closed out of season and the tram to the peak may close due to wind, it is still a recommended destination for all ages. The mountain offers breathtaking views on clear days and visitors can also learn about its history at the museum located on two floors. Climbing up the mountain may take longer depending on physical ability or alternatively, taking the gondola is an option.
We came back for the Christmas shows, parking 20, tickets 35, beautiful decoration, parade, and the lights show.

Climbed it for a sunrise mountaintop experience, very much worth it. Brought my 3 year old daughter and she was able to walk up most of it only needing help in the very steep parts. Legs were burning but the air was clear and the sunrise was beautiful. Would recommend.

I visited it with my friend's family last June. This place seems to be a park, museum, and amusement park!! You can easily climb to the top of the mountain by sky ride. Reach the top, you can eat delicious ice cream and a cold drink, too. As soon as I stepped on the top of stone mountain, I felt like I had landed on the moon. 🤩A few good tips:1. The parking fee is not cheap but if you are planning to visit there twice or more, I recommend buying annual pass.2. Let the children wear clothes that don't matter if they get wet. There's a water splash attraction that kids really like. Swimsuit? Very good!3. There is a nice train attraction, too. However, if you don’t have enough time and if weather is very hot, the train is not recommended.4. Bring a simple lunch box. It's hard to find a good restaurant there. In closing, Take a lot of great pictures and have a great time! 😍

Our Christmas trip to Stone Mountain was an incredible experience that left us in awe. Stone Mountain itself is an amazing place. We hiked up and descended via telespheric ride. Highly recommended for anyone.

Wanted to hike while visiting one of my close childhood friends and we ended up settling for this place the day before I had to head back home. For parking it was $20 so just keep that and mind and it was also $20 for the sky ride if you would like to experience that as well. We had a really good time and are glad we went when we did because we got to watch the sunset which made this hike 10000% better. You can see the whole sky and trees from all different parts of this mountain so makes it cool for a couple different stops. For sure should at least check this place out once if you haven’t been there before..

Wish they posted better information at the gate informing people of the additional fees expected after entering and psy the $20 for parking.

Stone Mountain is iconic in Georgia, it’s a public park on a humungous size, it covers over 3,000 acres, it’s main claim to fame is the Stone Mountain Hike which I believe is about 1.5 miles, it’s a hike of various level of steepness’s on exposed granite, proper walking shoes are encouraged, it’s not for one who may have health issues, another way to the top is via the sky ride , the views from the top are amazing, stunning and beautiful, on the other side is faces cast into the granite which is also the position for the light show which occurs at certain times of the year in the evening. The other side of the park houses the amusement and playgrounds for the kids and us larger kids, there is the gift show for a wide range of merchandise relating to getting to the top of Stone Mountain. There is ample car parking available and size of the park makes a great place for walkers and joggers alike

Stone Mountain is a great park to visit. Both the walking trail around the mountain or up the mountain provides a great view and a enjoyable experience. If you visit I definitely recommend doing the walking trail to the top of the mountain. It's a little under 700 ft in elevation gain and you get a great view of Atlanta and the surrounding area.

Visited Georgia this weekend and finally decided to visit Stone Mountain Park, paid $20 for the day parking which I thought was pretty good and decided to take the loop 5.5 mile trail around the mountain, saw a nice mill house and a couple of deer along as well the lake was gorgeous, got really close to the side of the mountain and looking up was a splendid carving on the mountain, I got to say it was good work put in to it. I saw the train from the train and it was fun to watch. After the trail I decided to leave the park to get something to eat then came back and entered with no problems and made my way up the mountain, it was the perfect timing when I got to the top the sun was just going down, which I had a great view of the sunset setting down on the city of Atlanta. What a great place to visit, I didn't get to see the attractions but it's okay the trail was worth it, take care now.

Andres Q — Google review
I think it is a bit overpriced. The line is very long, the ride up is short with limited view because of the amount of people packed into the sky Ride. I think the price should be no more then $10 rt. You would at least think it should be included in an activity pass, but this is purchased and marketed completely separately. I don't think it's worth it, and once is definitely enoughTips! Purchase your tickets in advance, I think that have you avoid the super long line at the ticket window. I think in all I waited about an hour total. This was about 45 minutes in line to purchase tix and another 15 waiting to get on the skyride. Bring your own snacks or drinks. They do have places to buy snacks at the bottom and at the top of Stone Mountain. Try to go on a day when it is not raining, the rock is very slippery to climb and or maneuver when it is wet. Bathrooms are at the top and the bottom of Stone Mountain as well, if that is helpful to anyone 🙂

5 stars here 10/19/2024Visited throughout September-October of 2024 during the week and weekend. The Best time to go to enjoy Sunset is on Saturday because the last Skyride goes down at 8:30 pm for now. And they have the Laser Show and fireworks.Rhonda at the Skyride is super friendly, professional, and always will to help. Security officers on top of the mountain are friendly and are present for your assistance.3 stars hereVisited today 8/30/24, didn't get to go up on the skyride because of the weather. I arrived around 5 pm, But by 7 pm it had cleared up but there were no staff members there. The Skyride's last ride down was supposed to be 8:30 pm. Many people came and left, I stayed until 8pm. I was a little disappointed.

If you want the best view of Stone Mountain, you must ride Summit Skyride! I visited in a somewhat cloudy day so I couldn’t get a clear view of the city of Atlanta and Buckhead.. You can hike down following the lines if you choose or you can pay to travel round trip on the tram. It was quite an experience to learn more about these beautiful mountains!

The view from the top of Stone Mountain was wonderful. Fire the teenagers working the gift shop and Summit Skyride; they could care less about their jobs, or what kind of experience their customers have. Also, someone should police the trash on top of the mountain periodically through out the day.

Walked up the mountain to get the full experience and kind of just wanted to try this out on the way down to get a different look at things… Unfortunately for us though it literally had just taken it’s last ride down before we could get to the door as I was busy taking in all the surroundings. So keep in mind if you want to do both make it up there before they close and just get some more of your pictures and stuff on the way down.. For sure would hike here pretty often if I lived in the area, seems like it would be a great workout if you decided to run the not so dangerous parts of it..

Awesome experience. The views were incredible and the ride was short

Ride goes 15MPH. It looks intimidating. As someone who is always the person holding everyone's stuff while the family goes on rides, trust me it was not that bad and the views were out of this world.

Excellent ride. Swings alot when starting and stopping but adds to the fun.

Pleasant skyride/trolley ride. Another passenger and I were afraid of heights, but we were able to enjoy this tram ride.

Didnt want to climb alone, so I took the lift. It's beautiful at Stone mountain peak.

It's a nice tramride up to the top of the mountain, great views, on top is a shop and snack bar, courteous young employees.

Ride was smooth and the view great. Our handicapped friend had to stand as the seats were locked in an upright position. One seat was down but occupied by a couple who didn't appear had any disabilities. I know not all disabilities are visible . Accommodation should be made for handicap

It's interesting that the whole thing is made of granite, not a mountain. The panoramic view of Atlanta from the top is also healing in itself.

For someone who's never seen or been on a mountain before (lived in Chicago all my life lol), this was truly an amazing, beautiful experience! The view from the top is great, and the mountain is huge and just peaceful and relaxing to be on top of. Lots of great places to take pictures. The wait was also not too long either if you go early

Amazing golf course with great views, even though it kicked our butts! Lots of elevation changes, blind shots, dog legs- it's a shot maker's course. Highly recommended for anyone visiting like myself or who lives in the area.
Ken L — Google review
Excellent course and reasonably priced. It is a pretty course that is well maintained from tee box to green. The staff was pretty friendly over all. The grill has a good selection of tasty food at a fair price. There was plenty of water available on the course which came in extremely handy on a very hot and steamy morning. We played on a day when it was cart path only and down right hot, but we want to play it again when it isn't as warm and we can get closer to our golf balls. We definitely will be back!!

I played this course back in the late 90’s when it first opened. It still has fast greens and the course requires shot placement for you to have a manageable score.Greens= Very good shape, fast and receive the ball well, be below the hole.Tee Boxes = most are good shape, but are tough to put a tee in.Fairways = Good shape, heat has taken a toll and need some water.Pace = Excellent for a holidaySand Bunker = didn’t end up in them but they seem pretty goodClubhouse personnel = Excellent, friendly and the very helpful. The beer selection is good and the food was spot on.
Marvin B — Google review
Great course! The greens were in phenomenal shape, almost every hole is uniquely carved out of the trees and feels very secluded. You don't have to worry about hitting anything but trees with errant shots. The staff were great and the rental clubs were excellent! All around a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend to anyone in the area.
Mike B — Google review
Had a great time playing here. Staff and on-course cart service was really good. I misplaced my new club on hole 16 and by time I had a drink at the clubhouse, someone turned it in 🙌🏾⛳
Dyson G — Google review
I've been playing here for some years and it seems that the course is in the best shape it's ever been. I have to say if there were changes that I would make is course management, more involved marshals. They need to rude around more and be seen by slow groups so that the course won't get so backed up. Andy, Greg, Steve all do a great job at the front desk..Great customer service.
Fire C — Google review
I was here for a baby shower and loved it . Every time I come here for a function it is always great. Clean nice inside.
Glenn 5 — Google review
The course was in phenomenal shape minus the tee boxes. The layout is good for the most part. We enjoyed the back more than the front. There were a couple strange holes, such as the par 5 on the front and the green on 1, but overall it is well designed. The electric golf cart was a bit screwy, which at times was annoying. The greens were fast and rolled great. If you live around there, I recommend giving it a try.
Brian — Google review
The courses in really good shape and it is playing very well! The clubhouse is really really nice and could be used as an event venue. They were just a little bit short on restaurants staff even though the food came out quickly and it was very good. I recommend playing this course in sufficiently challenging and sufficiently enjoyable at the same time. This is just me: I don’t like when golf balls aren’t provided for free on the range Here you have to pay for your golf balls for the range! The golf carts are in excellent shape. Their GPS and distancing software works accurately. The staff at this course are both friendly and engaging.
Brian H — Google review
It's a good and fun course to play. Undulating greens with very good speed. Some tee boxes and sections of the fairways need improvements. These negatives do not affect the playability and the challenges the course offers.
Jimmy L — Google review
This is a very interesting course. The place is so serene. I always enjoy myself there!. Everyone is so professional yet friendly ! After you can relax even more by having a sip @the bar or sitting andhave something to eat. !

Hello. Our Wedding day was April 6, 2024 We picked Cherokee Run Golf Club bc not only is it a nearby facility for us but it is a beautiful venue and the veranda is absolutely gorgeous. From the moment we decided on this venue, Audrey Arwood, Event Coordinator, was “on it”.Many phone calls, emails and Audrey was always there to discuss, share ideas and help us through the process. Also wanted to say a BIG thank you to Greg Carter who showed us the venue during renovation and Andy Bowman, CR director, who was readily available, answered our many technical questions and assured us we wouldn’t get rained on on our big day lol!So when your looking for the special place to hold your next event, call one of these folks and they will definitely take care of you.One last note, this facility just went through a renovation and is absolutely beautiful and their food and drink menus are delicious.Thank you.

I don't know much about playing golf here, but when I tell you that Audrey and Events staff are AWESOME, you better believe me!!I had an all-girls live jazz birthday brunch here Saturday, September 4th, on the huge verandah overlooking the golf course ⛳, and it was EPIC, because of the Events and catering services provided for my milestone birthday! The food was plentiful, hot, and delicious!!The venue is breathtakingly beautiful, and easily accommodated 78 of my best girlfriends, safely.Kudos to Audrey and her staff....Y'ALL DID THAT!!!

The course is always challenging and in good shape. The carts are as good as they get with soft seats and gps screen to help with deciding how to play each shot. Lots of tough holes, but if you are playing well, it definitely is rewarding!

Wonderful, wonderful. I went here for sunday brunch and the service was great. The food was wonderful and cook to order fresh buy the chef. The staff was very friendly and attentive making sure to top off drinks and checking on whether we needed anything else. The grounds are beautiful and can be seen from the dining area. There is a balcony with outdoor seating. The restrooms are clean and only for diners and people coming to golf. The parking area is a little tight but enough to park a truck or SUV. Overall a wonderful experience and I am certain going to return again.

What a beautiful place to lay your loved one to rest. The entire process, from beginning to end, was seamless and easy for our family. The kindness and empathy shown by everyone I spoke to was comforting in our time of deep grief. It is my understanding that while services are only held Monday-Friday, the cemetery is open for visitors 365 days a year from sun-up to sun-down. Thank you Georgia National for being there for our family - we look forward to visiting our loved one on your peaceful grounds.

The Georgia National Cemetery is a beautiful place to visit a loved one. In my experience, the staff have always been courteous and respectful, and the grounds are well maintained. The office is open from Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, but visitation hours are daily from sunrise to sunset. The public information center has a kiosk where you can look up your loved one by last name and print out a nap with their location number, even when the office is closed.

Beautiful and peaceful. Thank you to all responsible for making this cemetery so beautiful and this process so much easier for families. Thank you to Army Retired Colonel Carey Cole for the time he spent with my sisters and I just talking and saying a prayer with us, we appreciated his comforting words. This cemetery represents the resting place our veterans truly deserve. May they Rest In Peace.

Lovely cemetery. Great staff. I wish their website would add a note about no pets. We took our well-behaved dog on a lead because I couldn't find anything about them not being allowed. We left her in the car which wasn't a problem, but I wish I had known in advance.

The grounds are beauitful, the Field Crew is amazing at what they do and the Admin crew is amazing too. Only negitive thing I have to say is, I did work there for 3 years, got hurt on the job and the government did what they could to push me out. Now I'm still dealing with Workers compenstion and have lost feeling in my hands, tremors, dizzyness, and headaches that don't go away. The Foreman doesn't know what he is doing. He is a glorify Gardener from New York trying to act as a Foreman, that creates hostile work enviroment by twisting words, and blames people for stuff when they are not there. He sits at his computer all day long with a wall of sticky notes from past years. and no one has a clue what he does, cause nothing gets done. When I did get hurt, I had a doctors note for limitation and gave it to him. He said, "HR said its ok for me to work my normal job." Then I got another note for limitations and gave it to the acting Director at the time cause the Foremen was not there. They sent me home immediately, and they told the Foreman to do a Light Duty Assignment. I was stuck at home for 22 days without pay waiting for him to do the LDA. He went on vacation and didn't do it. It took the Director and Workleader 45 mins to do the LDA, and I was able to return. I still haven't been paid to this day for my work related injury.

My father is buried there, and as a child, he would often mention to me that he would prefer to be buried in this cemetery for one reason, and that one was because he knew that his fake family and friends wouldn't travel that far to see him. Funny, but he was the real mccoy, nothing fony about him. A true Marine. I miss my Dad a lot, but I'm extremely glad that I was able to honor one of his last wishes by placing him in a place where he really wanted to rest in peace in. The grounds are just like he was in this life fascinating, well-kept, and clean. I like taking the long drive to visit his resting place because it gives me time to reflect on my upbringing by him and just to feel a little remnant of his personality. I love my dad and always will. He was the greatest father to me and my siblings. RIP W.E.M.

As painful as it is to see my daddy's name on the headstone, but through my heart brokenness, going gives me comfort. This has to be one of the most beautiful & peaceful places on earth. The Ameris Bank Amphitheatre is an outdoor venue that can seat up to 12,000 people with a pavilion and lawn seating. It hosts famous acts and events. The lawn section provides ample space for visitors to bring their own chairs (excluding tall chairs) to sit on the hill in the center with a fantastic view of the show. Ordering food and drinks from Ticketmaster app is easy, without waiting in lines. Excellent sound quality and beautiful lighting make it a great concert experience.
I've been to a lot of concerts in the greater Atlanta area. But this is my first time at this venue. Parking was a little confusing at first. Mainly because I wasn't paying attention to the signs they had in several places directing you to various parking locations. My parking pass was included with the purchase of my ticket. I don't think I've ever had better general parking than I did here. It literally took me less than 10 minutes to walk from car to entrance of venue. The layout inside was easy to navigate. And the sound stage was awesome. I will be going back 100%. Ameris Bank Amphitheater only got 5 stars because more wasn't an option.
Michael P — Google review
The concert we went to was very fun. The restrooms were clean throughout the venue and day. Was not about to try the food but it did look and smell good. Assigned seating was not bad. We were in section 103. Each seat had a cup holder, bag holder, armrests and a back and were decently comfortable.
Bo B — Google review
This was an extremely cool venue for the Arctic Monkeys to play at! The way that the hill is built into the amphitheater is amazing and the surrounding vendors and area is also great. Beautiful location and amazing show!
T S — Google review
Love Ameris Bank Amphitheater. It is laid out perfectly so that even if you have lawn seats you still have a phenomenal view. There are bathrooms and drinks at the top and the bottom of the theater for easy access from either direction. The only downsides might be the parking and food. There is really only one way in and one way out, so pack your patience or come and leave early. The food is great, there just isn't a lot of variety. Lots of different drink choices though and they do have a free water station with clean filtered water.Really I would give it a 4.5 if I had the option. As I said I really love this venue.
Kim P — Google review
Very nice venue for a show or concert. Good seats all over and plenty of room on the lawn for bargain hunters. Sound system and lighting were good. You can't take DSLR cameras in and can't leave at front if it is a good camera.
Larry W — Google review
Pretty good venue. We went to see Glass Animals. We were in section 102. Though the lawn is actually a pretty good height and angle to be able to see the stage here. A lot of amphitheaters don't have such an elevation gain. Once people stand up in front of you in most amphitheaters you can see while sitting. Some rows you can still see, as well as all of the lawn can see still.Parking going in was pretty good, there wasn't much traffic or restriction going inBut leaving, that left lots to be desired. It took us an hour to get out of parking lot A, even though we were all the way at the bottom of the lot in area A7.Lots of expensive drink options. $24 for a mixed drink and $6 for a canned water. Though they were pretty good.
Michael C — Google review
Very impressed with the venue’s coordination! Saw Glass Animals here and they were fantastic. We had lawn seats and could still see the stage. They must also manicure and spray for bugs as we didn’t get any mosquito bites nor see any big dirt patches on the lawn. Parking was very easy, they had a multitude of attendants waving you down to the correct spot, we were led to park in a gravel lot. Security was also very quick, they had multiple lines and attendants to direct you. Be warned! If you have lawn tickets, you can’t bring a camping chair! Beach chairs only because they’re lower to the ground. The security did open our chairs to make sure they were low enough. Also you can bring an empty reusable water bottle to fill up inside which was nice. Like most big stadiums they had a clear bag policy as well. Overall very enjoyable experience.
Emma H — Google review
We went here for Dan+Shay and were able to get pretty good seats. Row F in Section 2 is directly behind the standing area. The seats give you a solid view of the stage. One thing I wish was better is that the standing area and the front row are at the same level. The standing area is not like an orchestra pit where it's lower than the first first row. This could be an issue for some. It turned out to work ok for us.For the most part, getting in and out was straightforward. The staff were all friendly and professional. The place is pretty clean. We love the outdoor feel with the nice evening breeze. We'll definitely come back for future concerts at this venue.
PJ B — Google review
We saw Neil Young and Crazy Horse live. The outdoor venue was safe (metal detector entry), clean, inviting and had lots of vendors on site for drinks, fries and other snacks. Bathroom facilities were available and well stocked. Several parking lots surrounding the venue were available with advanced included parking with ticket. Recommend arriving early to find the lots and your space. Concert was fab! Sound system was good and got better after several songs. After concert exit was as expected slow and backed up but moving. All in all a good experience. I’d come back for other shows.
Tyler D — Google review
I’m an avid concert goer. I sometimes average 2 concerts a month. What can I say, music is the soundtrack of my life & I love live music! Ameris is a very nice amphitheater. I love summer and fall concerts here because even the lawn is a great show! I’ve had seats under the covered area, but more recently spread a blanket and enjoyed Dan + Shay and John Legend with ASO. Security is organized and efficient. Concessions are just ok/average. A few tips: 1. No outside food. 2. Clear/small bag policy (I suggest clear bags-makes security check a breeze) 3. Only short beach chairs allowed for the lawn, but you’ll be fine with a blanket. They also have chairs you can rent. 4. Venue is cashless, so bring your card or phone for tap to pay.
Tami L — Google review
Best venue I've ever been too! Parking was easy with a little wait but not too bad. Tons of food and drinks options with no wait. And the seating and sound at the venue was amazing. Took my kids to see falling in reverse and black veil brides. Also lots of food and shopping options close to the venue.
Kyle B — Google review
I see a lot of shows here, i prefer seating, but the lawn even has a good view. They also have large screens so you can see the performers better.
Tabitha — Google review
This is my favorite outdoor venue for concerts! Great seats and the lawn seats have great acoustics! Make sure you bring beach type chairs (camping chairs impede views and are not allowed in) if you purchase lawn tickets. Parking is normally included with each ticket purchase and is first come per lot assignment, so make sure you get there early or risk paying.

This is our first visit to the amphitheater. Really enjoyed as well. Run laid out very well. Easy to park and get into lots of places to grab a cold, something to drink or some nice hot, delicious food. Lots of volunteers too once you're in the correct direction to help you find your seat.

Excellent venue. Great view from the lawn. Great sounds. Super organized. Parking was smooth. Wish there was more non-alcoholic choices and food choices
Suzannah W — Google review
Great venue! There are several levels with stairs that take you to various vendors. Plenty of restrooms and the stage area itself is really cool. Lighting effects and fire effects were awesome.
Lyndie K — Google review
Really like this amphitheater. Proximity to home parking and staff make this a great venue for concerts. parking is great and there are many options but beware the closer to showtime the worse the traffic . There's a range of typical snacks and food available and an array of beverage choices from bar to water. The seating is great with space for other patrons to get by you without feeling intrusive. I did notice that rows r to z seem to be at the sane level which makes for pior visuals at time depending who is sitting in front of you. I will definitely be looking to visit again.
Alisha W — Google review
The amphitheater is similar to others. It seats about 12,000 with 7,000 under a roof. Seats are actually comfortable. Concessions, while prices are high are amazingly good. The $10 pretzel with cheese was so good, we had to get a second one. We will certainly be back
Michael K — Google review
Great concert! Venue was clean and easy to navigate. Had VIP parking and traffic was not crazy when trying to leave even parked so close. Would visit again.

Great venue! They have an option to upgrade your ticket if you feel like venturing into the pit rather than sit on the lawn. The covered area is awesome for inclement weather!

Wills Park Recreation Center in North Fulton County offers a variety of recreational activities for all ages, including walking paths, baseball fields, disc golf, tennis courts, and open spaces for relaxation. Visitors can also enjoy an equestrian arena and dog park. With its numerous amenities and diverse options for outdoor fun, Wills Park is truly a special place worth experiencing.
A great park full of memories and families. There’s something for everyone here, tennis, basketball, baseball, disk golf, workout equipment, dog parks, a coffee shop in the rec hall, foosball, horseback riding… it goes on and on. My personal favorite is the wooden castle playground, as a kid the place seems huge and safe, there’s so much to explore. It’s worth checking out if you’re just passing by, it’s quite a sight.

First time visiting and it was an absolute blast. This park has a little bit of everything. Swimming pools, basketball, and tennis courts, multiple different playgrounds, benches along the running track, although a little disappointed at the lack of signs for the run routes. They also have an equestrian area. A definite recommend if you are searching for a new park to visit.

Wills Park is simply wonderful so so many reasons. From walking paths, to baseball fields, to disc golf, to tennis courts and so much more, Wills Park is a most wonderful amenity here in North Fulton County. It even boasts open spaces to relax, throw a frisbee, kick or throw a ball or to just relax with a novel or non-fiction offering. In terms of recreation, Wills Park is truly a special place. For those who are lucky enough to live in close proximity to Wills, I'd venture to guess that it would be a favorite park.If you are in the area, remember not to miss this special place. And for those who might venture a car trip to experience it, I would recommend that they do.

The park was neat and tidy. There weren't many people, and there were swimming pools and equestrian riding courses. One lap is about 1.7 miles away. There is a lot of consideration for walking with pets and children. There are many parking lots, so you can use them conveniently. It is minor negative that the stream is small and there is no pond. If you live in Alpharetta, you must visit there once.
ATL R — Google review
The park itself and facilities are lovely and well-maintained. However, the tennis coach employed by the park regularly screams at students, blasts music through a speaker, lets her students play soccer on the courts, and has harassed my group for having a basket of balls on our reserved court. The parks are otherwise perfect, so it’s a shame that the city chooses to employ this individual who detracts from others’ experiences.
Kessler — Google review
Love this park. Trail is amazing, park is clean and the playground is fun for kids of all ages. Park has lots of seats if you want a nice cozy place to sit and read a good book. Cute doggies walking around and there’s fenced areas for doggies of all sizes to play which is great because it cuts down on dog poo being all over the park. Alpharetta community center is there as well, there’s a number of things for people in the community to get into there. Overall, I give this place a 10/10 😁

I had a very similar experience. Wells Park is a beautiful and well-maintained park that my family prefers for playing tennis. However, the city-contracted tennis instructor there is very rude and aggressive. Although we approached her very politely and amicably about sharing the courts that we reserved and paid for, she aggressively claimed the courts. This behavior is not a good representation of the park staff or contractors and is very off-putting. The park needs a clear policy on how contracted instructors should interact with the general public. Additionally, a set number of courts should be reserved for public use, rather than all being reserved for city-contracted instructors at their preferred time. Wells Park is a public park meant to be enjoyed by the community, not monopolized by rude contractors.

It was beautiful sunny day at Wills Park! There is usually a great mix of park goers there and everyone just seems to be happy to be outside in such a great space.
Clifton P — Google review
Wills Park is a park I frequented as a child and is one I still enjoy as an adult as it has been well-kept throughout the years. However, the tennis coach employed by the park has recently made Wills Park feel inhospitable and unwelcoming. She routinely plays music despite the court rules banning speakers, and I have seen her allow students to disregard rules as well by playing non-racquet sports on court. As I was leaving the courts earlier this week with my friends and a basket of balls, she yelled that teaching wasn’t allowed and then refused to speak or engage further. I’ve heard that she’s approached others in a more aggressive manner but I do not understand how she is claiming that people are not allowed to reach when the online court reservation system and park website mention no such rule and she is clearly teaching herself. I love Wills Park, but do not want to continue paying for court reservations if a park employee feels she is able to yell and be rude to others who have just as much of a right to play tennis at a public park as she and her students do.

Every time I've come to this park theres swarms of leaf blowers and landscapers with loud lawnmowers. Its the most unpeaceful park in existence. Guys with lawnmowers and gator vehicles driving past you on the walking trail and leaf blowers blowing dirt and debree clouds all over the place for what? who cares if there are leaves on the ground? Its not worth the noise and nuisance.

Our first visit, we loved Wills Park! We played mostly on the "castle playground". The play area, bathroom nearby, parking lot and pavilions were clean and pretty well kept. We will be back to play here as well as explore the other two playgrounds.

We've been coming to this pool every summer for the last four years. My daughter absolutely loves swimming and jumping off the diving boards! The addition of the huge water slide is great. The concession stand is good, just a little pricey, and they are always out of the ice cream my daughter wants. I would have given 5 stars, but this year I have noticed that the lifeguards employed here are not very pleasant. The previous years, they have always been friendly and helpful, and 2 years ago, there was even one lifeguard that stayed late and waited with us inside when my car broke down and we were waiting on my husband to come get us. But so far this year, they have all been rude, and seem to be on some sort of power trip.

I was only here once for a 4th of July event but it was awesome. They had a fireworks show that started around 9 and lasted about 20 minutes. They had about 5 vendor trucks. Wish there was more but it was still good.

Absolutely love this park! It literally has everything! Several playgrounds, baseball courts, tennis courts, frisbee baskets and a stables for horses even! Yeah, you can come here on a weekend and see a horse ride competition. I should also mention some picnic areas with grills available and of course, the best swimming pool (for extra cost) in the area! Love! Love! Love!

Its main attraction lies in its picturesque surroundings set against scenic views, making it the most enticing shopping mall in the area. Visitors can enjoy spending quality time with their loved ones in the middle of this beautiful plaza while taking advantage of numerous restaurants available on site.
Great place to shop and dine or even live. Ton of upscale restaurants to choose from. There’s a whole food grocery store and movie theater. Everywhere is pretty walkable once you get here. If you want to live here the townhouses start around million and single family are 3 million. Overall awesome spot to visit.

What an awesome find. We knew nothing about this area and happened to run across it yesterday. Lots of high end stores and great restaurants. They even have a TESLA store. There’s a hotel and plenty of apartments plus a movie theater. Whole Foods is also close by. It looks like one of those communities where everything is within walking distance.

A gorgeous place to spend some quality time with your loved ones, go on a date, for shopping and ding at restaurant. This place has a cool vibe and great scene in the evenings. Lots of parking available and the whole place is walkable and you can stroll through and browse the shops at your convenience. Definitely visit here and you’ll not be disappointed.

One of the best places to go on xmas to ice skate while every where else tickets were sold out! Beautiful shopping center! Nice people! We loved it!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I have been working at Cru Food & Wine Bar within here for nearly 8 years now. I couldn't imagine working anywhere else! This place is so magical and always has exciting events all year round. Their staff is always so very pleasant. JACKSON is my absolute favorite. He is the best man around and every guest adores him! Stephan is pretty great too. He keeps that place running smoothly and that helps this place stay top notch.

It would have been 5 stars but the prices are ridiculously expensive. The Autograph Collection Hotel is a great place with super nice staff & the friendliest valet staff! Great job guys! 🏎

The best and most stunning shopping center around there. You can find restaurants, stores, a theater, and comfortable public areas. I do have great evening there. It’s nice to walk around in the evening.

Nice comfy place, free parking is behind, whole foods to shopping mall, all accessible by walk , breakfast is not free but plenty of closeby options , I'm not too sure if I wanna stare at a book stack wall paper inside toilet 🤭

We love Avalon, you can’t really go wrong here. Kids love playing here on a nice summers day and they have many different events throughout the year. Good options of stores and restaurants. Only downer is some people in the stores - can be racist and look down on ‘brown’ people, until they hear me speak and realise I’m British. Then it all changes, which is so wrong.
Neelima K — Google review
Nice and clean , always good shopping experience, restaurants are bit pricey however it is worth it b/c the food is delicious. Especially, Rumi"s kitchen. Good coffee and cheese cake selection at Caffe Intermezzo.

Very nice little "town ". Feels like more a small downtown than a shopping mall.Nice restaurants, cafes, store and common areas. Multiple parking lots.

Avalon is a fantastic spot to spend the day. Whether you’re shopping, dining, or just enjoying the atmosphere, it has something for everyone. The mix of high-end stores and casual eateries makes it perfect for any occasion.

The Avalon shopping mall is a must-visit destination for any shopping and entertainment lover. The mall boasts an impressive array of stores, including an Apple store with glass walls, a Nike store, and an Amazon Whole Foods. Along with shopping, the mall also offers a wide variety of dining options, including a play area for kids and ice skating in the winter, bars, grill restaurants, and even a Regal movie theater with 12 screens. The mall is beautifully designed with modern architecture and plenty of natural light. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a beautiful experience visiting the Alvon shopping mall and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day out with a great variety of options for shopping, dining, and entertainment

Great place to come and enjoy the shops and hangout with friends and family.BUT think again if you want to come in the evening on the weekends.Unless you enjoy getting your ear drums blown out your head from the trunks and cars these young kids pop in the parking deck and out in the main center. It’s not funny. It’s dangerous, obnoxious and annoying.I called the security here because one of these guys thought it was going to be funny to speed in the parking deck next to the pottery barn and purposefully sped up when they saw me speed walking to the car. What did security do? Absolutely NOTHING. All the gentleman said was they’re aware of the issue but there’s nothing they can do.Hopefully they don’t get hit with a lawsuit cause they can’t do “anything” when someone actually gets hurt.

Thank you for having a family lounge with nursing rooms. This helps bf moms so much to not run to the car to feed! It’s so comfortable and clean. Makes it nice for family outings without having stress where to change and feed the baby! Love the avalon!!

Always a pleasure to walk at Etowah. Extremely well kept grounds… 5 mile loop from end to end roughly. Perfect really…. Reminds me of TN by the river in Gatlinburg. Well done ….

A Beautiful two day, (today & Friday) for a walk in the park. Go early in the summer to beat the heat. Plenty of walkers, joggers, bikers, dogs. But, not overly crowded. I noticed the concession stand opened today, also. I crossed the bridge over the Etowah River to go to Heritage Park on the other side. Easy riding or walking with kids, too. There is plenty of free parking. There is also a kayak launch here, if that's more your style.

Great place to walk. The Six mile loop is a nice, easy walk. The Scouts walked a marathon for a merit badge last Saturday, and it was the perfect place to do so.

ERP was a great place to host the 20th birthday celebration of Revolution Church. There was plenty of room to park, shade trees, and restroom facilities. There was a packed crowd to celebrate and spend some time enjoying each other's company along with hearing from our pastors, community partners, and our worship team. Great spot for our celebration!

This is a beautiful park that is often bustling with activity. There are many events hosted here. Great paved running and bike trails.Bring water, because like most other parks, the water fountains don't work.

We visited this park recently for the Wings and Rock festival. The festival turned out nice and the park was great. The restrooms on the other hand were absolutely disgusting! The womens restroom had three stalls. The first one was missing the toilet completely and was the only stall that actually had toilet paper left in it. The other two stalls were out of toilet paper and were extremely dirty. There were old feminine products overflowing the stall trash cans into the floor, dirty water was all in the floors. It was just very unclean everywhere you looked. The whole restroom reeked of an overwhelming sewage waste. And to top it all off of course all of the soap dispensers were empty as well! I was shocked and very disappointed at the lack of cleanliness at their facilities.

This is my happy place!! I’ve been here countless times and it’s always clean, safe, well-maintained, and has a great vibe. There are so many great local events hosted here like 5Ks, food and music festivals, egg hunts, model plane competitions, dance classes, etc. Any of the events makes for a great time.As far as exercise goes, the trails are in phenomenal paved condition. The trails are nearly flat and span several miles. They’re great for running and biking. There is a connector trail through the woods that leads to heritage park. And on the river walk portion of Etowah river park there is a hidden loop through the woods. The park is very kid and dog-friendly. I always feel safe bringing my toddler to play here. There’s a great playground on the Etowah river park side and a brand new playground on the heritage park side.In my opinion this is the best park in the northern Atlanta area. We are so fortunate to have it right here in Canton!

Very nice playground for kids. Large spaces for picnics and a few covered areas too. Restrooms and trash cans could use more attention - for sure on a weekend of heavy use like Mother’s Day.

The kids I babysit absolutely love this place. The playgrounds are big and have lots of different things to do.We had my mom's bday party at this park as well so that we didn't have to worry much about being around sickness like in a restaurant setting. She loved the fresh air and the icecream man coming by was a big bonus! The concerts and events are a blast too!

We love to ride bikes at this park. The path is paved the whole distance and is long enough you don't have to circle multiple times which can get boring. Beautiful scenery, family-friendly atmosphere, easy biking, running path. There are a lot of playgrounds in this park and the connecting parks for the kids. They should have tons to entertain them. One of the nicest, cleanest, open parks in the area!

Beautiful flat multi purpose trail 👣. Well maintained clean restrooms. Playground has different activities for different ages and sizes. Basketball court ping pong table. Dog friendly with several cleanup stations along trail. Access to river to put in kayak or SUP. This area could use some attention but otherwise excellent park. Perfect for biking inline skating scootering dog walking and running. Feels safe and welcoming.

It's a great park for family and friends. We recently attended a 5 year olds birthday party and kids had fun planning at the playground. This park has more slides and swings compared to JB Owens park. The only issue was that the bench area were first come first serve so no booking for parties of anything.

Concert hall
Gas South Arena is a versatile 13,000-seat venue that hosts an array of events including concerts, sporting events, ballet, rodeos, conventions and trade shows. The arena has welcomed renowned artists like Paul McCartney, Ed Sheeran and Andrea Bocelli. Visitors have praised the well-organized setup of the arena and its convenient parking facilities. Guests attending concerts have appreciated the smooth arrival process and excellent views from their seats.
Ghost and Mastodon were amazing. I missed Spirit Box due to long lines for T-Shirts, but my family said they were great. 2nd time here and both times were great experiences. Staff, facilities, parking, audio were all great and there's not a bad seat in the building.

Arriving was a very quick and smooth process. We went for the Phil Wickham, Brandon Lake and Hulvey concert. We were in section 106 row J seats 12 and 13 and the seats were way closer to the stage than expected based on the online seating chart. The view and sound was absolutely amazing from there. We had the best time! 4 stars because trying to get out of the parking lot when leaving was kind of a mess. They could either use more people directing traffic or have signs stating which direction to go. People were having to make lines through empty parking spaces to get to the correct lane that leads out of the parking area. Overall a great place for a concert or other events.

Really nice arena! Boyfriend and I went to see the ATL Gladiators and had a great time! The seats are cushioned so it was actually comfy, and the arena is actually very nice compared to others. Lots of options for food and drinks. Spacious as well! Will definitely come back! Parking was also very easy and cheap.

From the moment we walked in the door to the end of the show, we had the most amazing experience at Paw Patrol Live! Everyone at Gas South Arena was SO helpful especially have 3 toddlers ages 3 and under, the ladies helping people seat assisted us in getting all 3 kids and our food down to the seats, they were wonderful! The food and drink vendors were also outstanding! Great customer service and so friendly! I highly recommend bringing your children to see this show! The characters were amazing, the kids stay tuned for the entire show, you can tell they put great effort into every detail of the show! The storyline was amazing and the characters looked just like the show. We were so impressed with the entire performance , definitely worth the money!! The kids mostly enjoyed the singing and clapping where the characters engaged with the audience!

I had a great time at the Gladiators game. The place wasn't packed, so lines for concessions were short. The prices are standard, nothing too exciting. The team lost, but it was a fun time. Not really a bad seat in the house.

Monster Jam at Duluth arena put on an awesome show. The drivers are great and friendly. I recommend buying a Pit Pass if you are taking kids so they will get more of the experience for only a $20 up charge per person per ticket. I do wish the arena was bigger but I knew this going in. My son had a blast and memories were made!

I had the unpleasant experience of encountering such blatant, insulting racism from 2 Gas South Arena employees today (9/29/2024) after the 2:30pm Disney On Ice show. It was even moreso disheartening since my 6 year old child witnessed it, and was able to comprehend what exactly was happening. Our seats were Floor Section 1, Row A.This is also an annual birthday tradition for us since 2019 (minus the Covid 2020 year where the shows were canceled). We always get floor seats; 2019 was Floor Section 3, 2020 was going to be front row floor as well, 2021 was Floor section 1, 2022 was Floor Section 3 Row A, and 2023 was Floor Section 1 Row B (tables with included meals).Apparently, there is some unpublished rule that “coloreds” are NOT allowed to exit from the exit between Floor sections 3 and 5. This woman and the person behind her physically blocked my child and I, along with another black man and his family, from exiting today, and said “No one is allowed out this way, walk to the top!” Strange, because I saw approximately 20 people (of the white skin color) walk through without a problem, no badges, no passes, nothing displayed, no wristbands, etc. Furthermore, I saw the people in the seats next to me walk out through this exit while she stood there and did not stop them. Since there were long lines trying to exit up all the stairs both ways I looked, I had ample opportunity to observe this floor exit. Sure enough, I saw her and the employee behind her make eye contact, then glance over at me, then back at the approaching white family of 4… and she let them pass through and walk out of that exit expeditiously getting out of there way, and didn’t say a single word to them! When I reflect upon the previous years of bring my child here to see Disney On Ice, I have always had a negative experience from the few employees that work right at that assigned area. They would come chastise me, telling me my child couldn’t stand up or dance, or that I could not record, which is why I make sure to secure tickets for Section 1. She looks like the same exact employee from 2021, 2022, and 2023 telling me we couldn’t exit on the floor, and there was no bathroom access for floor seats.Nonetheless, there is clearly some sort of privilege that is extended to whites only to exit from the floor - whites who clearly walked from worse seats and opposite side from 103 (like 119, 120, as both myself and the other black family clearly witnessed). I could see if the employee was polite or gave some fake generic excuse of “oh, they’re family members of the owners or get special privileges,” but no sort of words were spoken. This woman and the man/woman behind her just aggressively blocked the exit with menacing looks on their faces. I considered requesting having them call security over, but realized this is some unwritten code of conduct and company policy since I have experienced this racist behavior for the past several years. Now my child says she never wants to go back! Thank you for ruining her Disney On Ice yearly tradition!$500 each year for floor row A or B tickets, valet parking, that $42 bubble blower wand, food and beverages… to encounter racism from 2 (really it was 3, but I didn’t sweat the first woman during halftime) Gas South Arena employees. Is this a higher up teaching? Or their own evilness and preferential supremacy treatment they enact themselves? Disney On Ice in metro Atlanta (Duluth, GA)is usually late April each year, but for some reason it was moved to late September this year. I have already seen the dates for 2025, and late April will be in another city which my daughter was previously hesitant to go see it at a different arena/town she’s never heard of, and now she’s scared to go to Disney On Ice ever again because of “that mean woman let the white people go but not me because I don’t have white skin.”

Nice mid-sized concert venue. We visited for the first time recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. Easy to get into the parking lot. Friendly and helpful staff. Two complaints: (1) cocktails are more expensive than they are at Mercedes-Benz stadium, the top dog in the Atlanta metro area. A double well cocktail at Mercedes Benz is $16. Gas South charges $19. Save your money by having fun in the parking lot before the event. (2) Exiting the parking lot is a nightmare. This is a difficult challenge, but the designers just didn't seem to care about the headaches caused by exiting the parking lot.
Kevin K — Google review
Here for AEW Dynamite. The concession stands take the tops off your bottles so people can't throw them at others, which is fine, however the bottles do not fit in the trays they give you. Walking down the aisle to our seat, my bottle fell out the tray and there was soda splashed everywhere. Also the arena seats are too close. You have to stand up to let someone walk by. I'm coming off a hip replacement and having to stand so often to let someone by, walking with a irregular tray down those steep aisles very tough for me. The pizza, cheesesteak and fries are delicious, just arena pricing is the downer. Parking is superb. Easy to drive in and out. Traffic area not bad. Lots of restaurants nearby
Curtis C — Google review
I attended my first ever concert here and it was a great experience. They do well to have everything clearly marked and personnel to point you in the right direction. Pricing is what you'd expect at any arena. Serving sizes of things are reasonable though.
William M — Google review
Visited for WinterJam 2024 and the concert was good. The food was not overly overpriced (it is an arena so higher than normal, but not horrible). For example got 4 chili dogs, 2 regular dogs, 4 drinks and 4 bags of chips for $62 and change after taxes. The seats in the arena are not bad and the bathrooms are well placed. Parking was good as well and leaving they had it flowing out good took. The stadium was either at capacity or very very close too.

I thought the arena was set up very well. Getting into the parking lot was easy to get into (I had a prepaid pass). To get into the arena (for the Melanie Martinez concert), there were at least 2 long lines. They did the security check before entering the actual arena. Please check the website for their bag policy. I had a clutch sized bag (Vera Bradley wallet w/phone pocket) that was the allotted size. Our seats took a minute to find because it was dark inside the arena when we were able to get to our seats. Even though we could see the rows and seats on the stairs, I couldn't find the section at first. The sign for the section was above the stairs, just FYI. My daughter and I sat in section 107, row N, seats 15 & 16. I thought we had a great view of the stage! My daughter, during the concert, needed earplugs, so I went to find a worker with a red jacket. The gentleman did not have any on him, but he made sure to ask guest services (they had some) and assisted me on how to find the desk. I would definitely visit this venue again!

With over 700 events annually, it offers a diverse range of entertainment including professional plays, Broadway productions, musicals, stand-up comedy, concerts, and children's programs. The theater has garnered praise for its top-tier performances and innovative contemporary theatre.
I gifted my arts artsie kid tickets to one of her favorite shows. The acting was quality, atmosphere was classic, staff was very knowledgeable. Oh and they serve alcohol!! Best experience at a decent cost.

Clue was really well done and the actors were fantastic. The parking is free and the parking deck has a door directly into the theater.

Having lived in Lawrenceville for over 30 years, my wife and I consider Aurora to be our place for most entertainment. Of course, plays and musicals get top billing, but we also attend other musical events such as the Men of Motown and the Eagles tribute band. Unlike all of your big cities, this quaint city has always made us feel safe when visiting at night and will not buckle in to charging for parking. We love Lawrenceville…We love Aurora Theatre.

Stunning theater in the heart of Lawrenceville. It’s big and beautiful, with a cute interior and a small concessions stand. I think just about any seat in this theater would be great…it’s not too big and not too small. A great size and shape for a community theater! Beautiful lighting and sound…wonderful orchestra!!!

Great venue!!Parking is easy. The Holiday Juggling Show was great.

We attended the Valentine's Day jazz concert. The vocals and musicianship were wonderful! So much talent created a very nice event.Suggestions for the Aurora theater to consider:1. Repetitively highlighted in other Google reviews: 26%, including fees and taxes, added to out ticket price will be a disincentive to attend future Aurora events. Eliminate or reduce fees.2. The usher was untrained, unfamiliar, and generally unhelpful finding our box seats. The seats were unnumbered, and the boxes likewise unidentified, so there was no way to know for certain where our seats were located. Fortunately, the event was lightly attended. However, all seats should be identified and ushers should know where seats are. That is their job, right?3. Establish a minimum age for children to attend evening, couples-focused events. A squalling child did not add to the atmosphere.4. Prior to the beginning of performances, remind everyone to turn off and not use phones and flash photography. Unfortunately, a clear reminder appeared to be necessary many times.

The Aurora Theater nestled in the quiet setting of downtown Lawrenceville, Ga. is a jewel to visit. The staff is hospitable, the concessions inviting and the shows stocked with joy, excitement and things that make you think deeply. This is a don’t miss opportunity. Also, visit the shops and eateries in the surrounding area if you enjoy great food.

We had season tickets to the Broadway Series at the Fox for several years but as we've aged and grayed, going downtown Atlanta has lost its appeal. For years I've heard how good the Aurora Theatre is and our neighbors convinced us to go with them to "Christmas Canteen." From that performance we bought tickets for the final 3 plays of the 2023-24 season and after the fantastic performance of "Knead," we happily purchased the 5 play season package for 2024-25. (Go see "Knead" now. It's delicious!)Parking is easy and free. The theater is accessible to any and all. Best of all, the plays are unique and very professional. The cost is great and they have early-bird specials b4 the plays are announced. With Fox Theater parking at $50 now, the Aurora Theatre with close proximity to free, covered parking is excellent entertainment at a no-brainer price

This place is huge and well organized. There were only two people at the desk, very nice fellows. The manager, Chris, was very impressive. I had two items from two different booths that were on sale although they were not marked. When I checked out Chris knew the sale price. I asked if they were computerized and he said no, he just remembers the booths that have sale items!Ythere is a wide assortment of antiques of all kinds. If you are anywhere near it is worth the trip !

The general manager Chris is awesome. Very laid back cool guy. I enjoyed meeting and working with him. They have tons of great vendors with cool stuff. New items are added all the time.

So many wonderful finds old and new! Great place to spend a few hours treasure hunting!!

This place is pretty incredible. You could spend days in there and not see it all. I feel that most of their vendors are overpriced but there are definitely gems to be found there. I love their bathrooms (I know that sounds weird, but once you see them you'll understand ). No ac for those that can't handle heat beware. But that keeps the crowds down and better shopping for you. ❤

Antique everywhere. Nice layout. Easy layout. I was able to see everything without wondering which way do I go. Makes the exploration fun. You have some beautiful furniture pieces and nick-nacks. Prices seem to be extremely reasonable. I was not looking for anything serious but if I was...there was a lot of special items to purchase. Atmosphere is really clean. Usually I walk into a building with antiquities and it's musty, moldy, old and stuffy and heavy feeling. There was a light feeling to the area. Very comfortable. Didn't get an opportunity to look around at the second building. Look forward to going again.

Unique and real antiques at this market, always have a good time searching for the perfect item.
Kimberly M — Google review
The selection in this place is unbelievable! Be prepared to spend a few hours visiting. Though the building can get a bit uncomfortably warm (there's no central air conditioning), strolling around will be it's own reward. There is something for everyone here.If it gets too warm, step outside and look at the statues.
Jeff G — Google review
Great variety, lots to see, and worth going to. There's an also places next door to shop at. Be prepared to spend more than an hour or 2 looking. There really is that much to see. The prices are high however, almost like they plan for you to wheel and deal but there's no one there to wheel and deal with. My understanding is that it's all booths and consignment. I would return sometime to look again. Really enjoyed looking through it.

The Mall of Georgia is a landmark shopping destination with impressive architecture and over 200 stores spread across three levels. It also includes a cinema, kids' play area, and a unique outdoor shopping village resembling a traditional Georgian town center. This expansive indoor shopping center offers an array of high-end retail stores, diverse dining options, and entertainment areas. Additionally, the mall features a 500-seat amphitheater for events and performances.
We had a great time shopping and hanging out with the kids. Of few of our favorites in the mall were Billy Beez, kids play area & train ride, Barnes & noble(outside portion). They are already setting up for Christmas pictures with Santa. The area looks cute and I believe is priced at about $35.

Mall of Georgia is such a great place to spend the day! So many different places to visit and I love all the little booths throughout the mall, you can always find such cool things are good things to eat!! I have been there recently to get my ring fixed at Helzberg Diamonds, and we went close shopping for a wedding I'll be attending in August! Plus I have to go to Bath and Body Works even if I don't get anything I love that place!! 😁

A very busy and store packed mall in an era of dying malls, but this one is still rockin' and rollin'! Every typical mall tenant can be found here plus many more, all in a clean environment on multiple floors.

It's a good place for shopping, I think it is missing a grocery store. There are ATMs inside the Mall, near the food court. The fastfood court is not that big, you can find the following fast food: American. Chinese, Japanese etc

Awesome experience😁 Fun! Staffed! Food court full of people, just like back in the day.An actual real mall without stores closing or short staff. A kid fashion show, all of them did their best modeling clothes.I would go again. The perfume store all bottles of anything seem to sell at $105.00, which is good depending on the brand.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Mall of Georgia, and all I can say is that it was truly an amazing shopping experience! From the moment I stepped foot inside the mall, I was impressed by the wide variety of stores and the vibrant atmosphere. One of the things that stood out to me was the excellent customer service provided by the staff at the various stores. Whether I was browsing for clothes, accessories, or electronics, the employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist with any questions or concerns. Their helpfulness and professionalism added to the overall enjoyment of my shopping trip. The layout of the mall was also well-designed, making it easy to navigate between stores and find exactly what I was looking for. The cleanliness and organization of the mall added to the pleasant shopping environment, making my experience even more enjoyable.Additionally, the Mall of Georgia offers a great selection of dining options, ranging from fast food to sit-down restaurants, providing a perfect opportunity to refuel and relax after a long day of shopping.Overall, my experience at the Mall of Georgia was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of diverse stores, outstanding customer service, and comfortable ambiance made it a shopping trip to remember

Lovely to visit a full Macy's store and walk a thriving mall! Many malls have shuttered because of online shopping, but Mall of Georgia sees families, groups of friends, and a variety of shoppers. We drove a couple of hours to get there and didn't expect much, but were pleasantly surprised and had a fun, productive shopping trip.

It's been awhile since I've been here and it's a pretty nice mall but getting really dated from all appearances, needs remodeling. I prefer Discover Mills mall or what's now called Sugarloaf (same county, different city ) that's always been my favorite BIG mall for shopping and their big game room (overall layout and stores too) and they are also getting a little dated but not near as bad as mall of GA. I hope it improves. 🙏 I remember when this store was first built, my home mall with a lot of good memories.

This is a mid range storeItems here are in assorted sizes at every store. They have varies departments to choose items from. If you don't mind seeing someone wearing the same outfit, this is the place. They have pretty good sales, but note some are better than others. If they have sale associates, they are only at the checkout. Goodbye to personal assistant to help you find anything.

I recently visited the Mall of Georgia and was extremely impressed. The mall was very clean and spacious, and had a great selection of stores and restaurants. Parking was a breeze, with plenty of parking close to the front entrance. Navigation within the mall was easy, thanks to the signs pointing to the largest stores. All in all, it's a great mall and I would highly recommend it!

The Mall of Georgia, once heralded as a premier shopping destination, has experienced a noticeable decline over the years. Having witnessed its evolution since it first opened, it’s disheartening to see the current state of disrepair and the pervasive sense of decline that has set in.From its inception, the mall never achieved full occupancy, a trend that has only worsened over time. I’ve seen numerous businesses come and go, leaving behind a trail of empty storefronts and a lingering atmosphere of abandonment. The turnover rate of stores has been alarmingly high, making it difficult for the mall to maintain a consistent and vibrant shopping environment. One of the most striking signs of the mall’s decline is the visible disrepair. The decaying furniture in areas once bustling with activity, such as the seating areas of closed down restaurants, is a stark reminder of better days. Boarded up store fronts are now a common sight, contributing to an overall sense of neglect and desolation.Despite its size and the initial promise of being a shopping hub, the Mall of Georgia struggles with maintaining its allure. The lack of tenants and the evident neglect have significantly impacted the shopping experience. What was once a lively and inviting space has become a shadow of its former self. It’s a sad reality to see such a prominent mall in this condition. For long-time patrons like myself, the decline of the Mall of Georgia is a poignant reminder of the challenges faced by brick-and-mortar retail in an ever-changing economic landscape. One can only hope that steps will be taken to revive this once-thriving establishment and restore some of its former glory.

Everything is extremely high priced. The the food court itself we'll break your wallet. One small drink and the food court is $3.17 plus tax. Gyro meal for two bought by my grandson, was $37.Some of the electronic directories do not work. The electronic directory is also don't work that well by keyword. It offers a good variety of stores however.Yankee candle has fantastic deals as does bath & body works. There's elevators if you use a wheelchair and accessibility. There's a nice movie theater inside and again everything is high-priced.There is a limited disability parking lots of paid parking like a parking meter. And they will tow your vehicle if you do not get out there in time to refill your meter.I watch two people get towed for that. It's extremely overcrowded in the afternoon. I would suggest going in the morning. The bathrooms were as clean as they should be.

Beautiful and fun park for all ages! Two colored pavilions with a lot of picnic tables, there are working whales out here by The pavilions, there are tons of trash cans for your convenience. The bathrooms are open and they are very clean. Playground is open. The only downfall is there's no swings for smaller children. Lots of parking, great walking trails. NO dogs allowed. And yes the water fountains behind the bathrooms do work!!

Beautiful place for a moderate hike to the Indian Seats on top. Lot of parking there with a visitor center. There are two other parking areas about a mile away, be careful about your parking place and the direction while coming back to your parking. Great views all around the top. There is plenty to keep kids busy like the huge treehouse, the turtles, and things in the visitor center. There are long and short trails, and are well maintained, with wonderful views. There are restrooms, some of them are not open on Sundays.

Have been hiking up the mountain for years. Always a fun hike. Sometimes we do the shorter trail from the Bettis Tribble Gap parking lot and sometimes we do the much longer hike from the Visitor Center. Trail is rocky and rough and you will roll your ankle multiple times even if you are careful. View from the top on a clear day is beautiful. Always a busy trail and you will meet multiple families, trail runners on the way.

Nice hiking trails. Neat abandoned gold mine shafts. Restrooms at visitors center.

It was a decent hike overall. I went up to Indian Seats twice to help out a lost group. 5.1 miles total. Lots of rocks and tree roots. Wear boots. There is not much scenery except the fairy houses and the Indian Seats viewing deck. I got stung by a bee around the fairy houses. Lots of spider webs. There are many down trees, but the trail is apparent from them. The trail is well-marked, and maps are available in the parking lot. I followed along using the AllTrails app.

This trail stands out as one of the most accessible options. With multiple trailheads, you can experience a fresh perspective each time you explore it. It's also suitable for trail running. What I appreciate is the flexibility to create your own unique route, adjusting the grade, type, and distance according to your preferences. You have the freedom to customize your experience whether you opt for a 2, 4, 6, or 9-mile trail. I particularly enjoy the 4-mile Indian Seat side loop and the 6-mile combination of the west side 2-miler and the 4-mile Indian Seat. It has been my preferred trail for years.

I was told that there was a trail close to my house I was kinda shocked, and took some time out of the next weekend to check it out.I'm certainly glad that I did! It was pretty, and lightly strenuous hike for a Saturday morning. I took a friend and we didn't do the full trail, because she had something to do after, but I'm definitely interested in going back and finishing the whole thing. For those with kids, the Fairy Trail is neat because people have made a bunch of little "fairy homes" that they placed alongside the trail. It's funny and provides a bit of whimsy to the hike. All in all, I would definitely suggest heading over on a Saturday or Sunday day trip.

As well as your speakers, and loud conversations on your cell ph.

We enjoyed. Have been a lot. It’s an easy beginner trail, but there are other moderate trails. Basically 20 minutes up, 20 down easy, and 20 minutes more or up. It is a great 1 hour excursion. One there. Beautiful views. Awesome in early spring or fall.
Erny B — Google review
It is a great place to go on some hiking trails and be at peace and get some excercise. They are moderate to slighlty strenuous to hike with the hills if you are not used to hiking. Trails are well kept. If you plan on hiking make sure to have a good pair of hiking boots to wear. Its is not dangerous but the ankle support is a good idea. It is one of the more refreshing hiking trails I have done lately. There is not a view like other mountains but if you are looking to get away and be in a peaceful place for a bit, this is the place. I strongly recommend giving the hiking trails a go.
John P — Google review
The 4-mile loop trail is reasonably easy, but not very interesting (at least in mid March), until you get to the top. There, from an observation deck, you get a panoramic view all the way out to the north Georgia mountains. It's pretty spectacular, and worth the hike.Note that for a shorter hike, you can start at the Sawnee Mtn Preserve parking lot off Bettis Tribble Gap Rd, hike to the top, and come back the same way. That's about 1.5 miles.
Bob W — Google review
Very nice place. You need to have enough time from this point to walk all the way to top. Almost 3.6 miles up and 3,6 mile down .Good for hike with friends not with family and kids of lower age.

This is an excellent nature park to visit. It has some great outdoor architecture with the picnic tables, followed by the deck and the gazebo facing the the creek.Their is a activity/guest center right up front. There's a creative FAIR TALE trail with beautiful little homes create most likely by younger kids (please forgive me if it was done by the staff)...Very relaxing, and if you just need some YOU time, this is the perfect place....

This place can be very confusing with 3 entry points. I also feel the maps could be better, and the trail markings could be more visible. It's not terribly difficult if you have some fitness to you. I'm a daily hiker, so this wasn't bad at all for me. We did the 3.6 mile loop in just about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Just beautiful. Thick lush greenery, great walking trails that aren't too difficult to walk, bathrooms were clean and maintained and the awesome view as the payoff for your effort. Definitely off the beaten path for those who love closer to the city but worth it if you are looking for an awesome nature expereince.

Nice trail, not too hard, view is great once you reach at the top.Explore it if you love hiking, walking, natural beauty and trees.I gave it a name into the woods trail because trail is covered in big trees.

It was a nice hike and a nice view but it wasn't anything spectacular. Maybe I feel this way because I have been to other places around the world that are much better hiking and scenic. For the area I think it is worth a visit. Restrooms were clean and parking was good. I was visiting Atlanta for business and wanted to take some time to get in some hikes.

Margaritaville at Lanier Islands is a lakeside water park featuring thrilling slides, a large wave pool, and various attractions for families to enjoy. It offers an array of experiences that cater to visitors seeking unforgettable moments together, from serene beach vibes to winter escapades and mesmerizing light displays. The venue also includes a mini-golf course, arcades, and snow tubing during the winter season.
We only went to the water park, which is a great way to spend family time for all ages. The many varied attractions are fantastic, something for everyone! My only critique is the fact that they do not allow coolers, drinks or snacks to be brought in, only to sell you extremely high priced drinks and food. They will go through your beach bags but the worker that went through mine did allow my big thermal cup full of ice. There are water fountains around the park, but it is not cold water. One way to avoid an expensive lunch for the family is to pack it in a cooler and leave it in the car. With your wristband, you can leave and go to your car for lunch and then come back in. There is a tram train to take you back and forth from the parking lot to the entry gate.

If you, kids, or anyone in your group have “FOOD SENSITIVITIES”, don’t even bother trying to bring your own food or snacks. They will not let you bring anything in, no matter what or which higher up you talk to. You can only bring in sealed, unopened, or completely empty water bottles, NOTHING ELSE. Now To the review. Your typical water park and the atmosphere that comes along with it. The park has about 10 water slides, some of them require mats, tubes, and others you can go without anything. Everything is provided for the requirements to ride. The only requirement is that the rider is 48 inches or taller. Wave pool is about 6 ft deep. Bathrooms are pretty well kept up, so that’s worth a star in itself. If you’re a local, and are getting season passes, they are worth it for the summer break kids are usually on. Just remember, the little ones will eventually get hungry, and fries alone are close to $8, make it meal for $17. Remember, food sensitive or not, if you’re bringing your own food, you will take a minimum 10 minute walk to your car to go eat and quench your thirst. “Enjoy”

🚫🚫🚫Not worth the trip!!🚫🚫🚫We went today to enjoy the snow sledding. It did not go very well. Staff seems young and not sure about questions or older and quite discriminatory. Let me go in to details. We asked about where to park at the ticket booth but the girls said “I don’t know if there is parking up there?” Asking about parking by the top of the snow speeding. We went to the snowball play area and the two young girls were playing with their hair and did not even acknowledge us.The lady at the Magic tunnel was very nice. The man at the whirly birds was nice. The older man at the carousel 🎠 was telling me how the works had to go back to Mexico and Nigeria. That they had the “gay workers working that ride near by. But they are good workers for being gay.” I walked away at that point. We left after being their an hour.We will not going back!

I’m a fan of Margaritaville at Lake Lanier over the summer completely. However, their Lakeside Lights over the winter was expensive and disappointing. Parking was $20, tickets to just walk through and see their eh display was $26, or you could purchase the all access pass for $60. (for ONE person). The light walk through ticket was $20, but for some reason the processing fee was a whopping $6. I think that’s ridiculous personally? The All-Access pass included access to some small carnival rides and some extra stuff, but in my opinion $60 was a bit much. The lights were basically a 5 minute walk through, you got to walk through 4 kinda disappointing light arches and then walk a bit more and see a couple of light up presents. I just think for that price it could’ve been a bit more.It was super nice for kids to come though. Every family I saw seemed to enjoy it, but it just could’ve been more.

We have had season passes for the last four years and I used to tell anyone who would listen how great it was for a relaxed and economical quick trip. Unfortunately, this will be our last year getting the passes.I expected prices to increase due to the cost of the new water slides, but there are other changes that significantly impact the overall cost. You can no longer bring a tent, which I understand since they now offer cabanas. However, the cabanas are quite expensive. As season pass holders, we had planned eight trips, but at $300 a day, that would total $2400.Alternatively, you can rent the shade that was free last year for $200 a day. If that's too expensive, you can rent umbrellas for $20 a day. While this isn't bad on its own, needing multiple umbrellas or planning to visit multiple days adds up quickly, especially since you can't bring your own umbrella anymore. The reasoning behind this seems to be purely financial. We'll go once to make some use of our season passes, but it's not worth going as many times as we planned if we have to spend $80+ a day to have shaded seating that isn't overcrowded (which they do offer for free). They could have found another way to generate revenue without prohibiting personal umbrellas. However, it seems they won't miss us or other customers like us.They are now the Spirit Airlines of family fun, they will get you in with decent prices but once you are booked the fees make their cost the same as everyone else. Charge a higher rate upfront so people can plan accordingly and allow cost saving measures like personal umbrellas or canopies.

We went to the water park area. We did get some food, which was tasty. Everything but chips and water is 8+$. They do not accept cash. Most of the slides were so much fun. One thing that was hard to get a straight answer about was the timing for the closing of the slide, the start of the concert, and fireworks.

My wife and I brought our camper to Margaritaville and had a beautiful few days there. Our site was super close to the water; we had to pick a site from what was still available and we happened to book kinda last minute. I’d say book well in advance to when you want to visit! The waterpark was so much fun with all the different slides to try. The slides were all really smooth too. Great for adults to ride too! We got 4 tickets included with our site rental each day we were there, we just had to go to the office to claim them the day of. Sites were clean and looked like they had brand new hookups for everything. Leveling our camper on the rocks was a bit challenging, but it was our first time doing so and it ended up leveling out nicely. We can’t wait to come back! Thanks Margaritaville!

We are locals and season pass holders at Fins Up. 10/10, good fun for kids, great amenities for adults. The beach does have a fence but it's like 10 feet out from the shore. It's honestly perfect for little kids, no complaints. Shout out to Steve-o the bartender for making every time we come down feel like we are coming back to family. Raise that man's wages!

Most of the waterslides are super fun!! A couple of them can hurt though which is why it's a 4 and not a 5. The food here is good for a water park and the wave pool is always cool. Great family weekend getaway!!

Waterpark looks aged, needs some motivated employees (paying attention to the surrounding and not their cellphone), some maintenance and repair and a cleaning in some area. Beach area is closed as there is no lifeguard. The 4 new slides however are lot of fun.No bring-in food or drinks allowed while must of the bars offer are either closed or just offer only 2-3 overpriced snacks.
Bjoern B — Google review
This is a great little water park. It has just enough fun things to do without being overwhelming. The daily tickets are expensive, but if you can go more than once, then a season pass is the way to go. Some of the buildings are aging and it could use some better landscaping in some areas, but it's great, for the most part. The reopened the beach area (last year there was fence keeping people out of the water), so you can just sit and enjoy the lake now. The season passes give you a little reusable bracelet, but it's a resort style ribbon bracelet that I'm not confident will last long enough. It would be great if these could be made of a sturdier material.

This place overall was a blast. We came here with our church youth group totaling about 40 people. There were more positives than negatives.Positives:Quite a few slides with varying intensity.Beautiful venue on the lake.Obstacle course on the lake was a hit with the teens and adults alike.Good workers who politely answered questions and helped when they could.New slides are objectively very good to great.Fun atmosphere.Lots to do. Spent 6 hours there and easily could have stayed longer.Negatives:It seemed like they weren’t ready for crowds.Their grill ran out of buns for burgers at 1:30.The chicken finger place ran out of bbq and honey mustard around the same time.We were going to buy dipping dots, but they had no spoons. There weren’t enough inner tubes for the new rides. We had to wait in line at the exits of the big slides just to get a tube. Then we had to stand in line again to get on the ride. I think they’ll get more tubes in the future, but that was frustrating today.Overall, great experience. I have it four stars because of the dining experience. Not having enough buns, sauce, and utensils isn’t the end of the world. Just frustrating.I’ll likely go back with my family. I’d recommend it.

We love this water park! It's smaller, not very crowded, plenty of things to do for an afternoon, and very clean! The food is good from what we have tried and most of the staff have been friendly. Would much prefer this over White Water in Atlanta. Do not ever plan on visiting there again after coming here.

I was there with some friends and we didn't see anyone. Right as we were about to leave, we saw a guy watching us from behind some corners. We were pretty far from the parking lot so we walked fast to our car. We kept seeing him so we would walk faster and faster until we were in a full sprint to our car. I swear the place is haunted.

We had a good experience at the Fins Up Water Park. I recommend getting there early enough to snag a pool chair or somewhere to sit. We noticed that people would set their stuff down on several chairs but not actually be in the wave pool, so if you can, bring a chair. The food is really expensive so I recommend prepaying or eating before you go. They will not allow you to bring water in your water bottles (I watched staff instruct a woman to empty her water out of her Stanley before entering). For a Tuesday, the lines were manageable, and it wasn't too crowded.

Lake Lanier has gone down hill. I’ve lived here for my whole 28 years of live. For a season pass of $99.99 you get absolutely nothing. They have in the terms that they can change their rules and benefits at any time without notice. They never notified anyone that you can no longer bring umbrellas into the park until you arrive with your umbrellas. Then if you want an umbrella you have to pay $20 a day for an umbrella that continuously falls over and the staff have to set it back up for it to fall down again. Oh but don’t worry, if you want reliable shade you can spend $300 a day for a cabana. So now you just have to sit and fry and get heat stroke on a mediocre beach but you aren’t allowed to get into the water. Only way to cool down is to ride their one good water slide. Save your money and your time and go somewhere else. This company does not care about the happiness of the patrons. Oh and Lake lanier will only respond to the good reviews so I know they aren’t going to address my concerns.

My husband and I were there last week with our family and was so embarrassed about the service, I had to write a review in hopes the park can correct the lack of service we received. We have been season pass holders for several years and have noticed the lack of responsible management and declining service at the park. We rented a cabana 2 weeks ago and was told with the $300 fee we would have a waiter to take our drink and food orders. We never saw anyone come over to even check our rental identification or take any drink orders. This was the minimal requirement I expected from the park for a family day I had planned. I can’t say what a disappointment this was for our out of town family to visit. Then later in the week we went back again with family expecting better results for the day but realized this was not the case. We went to the sandwich place by the wave pool for lunch and was told they were out of chicken and bbq sandwiches and hot dogs and that we would have to go somewhere else on the other side of the lake. We went to the pizza shop by the lake and stood in line for a long time. When the guy finally took our order he said he was the only one working there and he had to take our order and go back to the kitchen to make our pizza. He also said there was no ice in the place and we would have to go somewhere else to order some ice for our drinks. We drank hot sodas! How embarrassing I felt to even bring family and friends to the park ever again. How can the park expect new business with this type of service? The rules of the park are no food, drinks or coolers but they don’t even follow through to provide the customers the basic foods at the park. We went a third time recently and had to sneak in crackers because we worried no food would be provided. Please respond how things will be any different next year before I will be renewing my season tickets. Convenient locations of enough food and drink opportunities must be provided daily.

We visited for the snow attractions since Stone Mountain isn't doing their snow stuff this year. This is our first time visiting.Cons: We went and spent almost $350 for 2 adults and 2 children to enter, then another $20 for a "resort fee" to enter. We won't be back at these prices, it wasn't worth it.I don't exactly remember how much per person the food was, but we also spent another $100 on 2 chicken finger baskets meals and 2 chicken filly meals We asked the staff if we could exit the park and come back without being charged a resort fee again. We got blank stares and told they didn't know since it's a different company at the front entrance (??)I also called before we drove 2 hours to ask if they shut down the park due to rain and the staff member didn't know 😑The light show was an extra charge and was underwhelming. It was drizzling today, so most of the rides were also shut down.We did the blizzard mountain, and a few employees(teens) were on the phone the whole time, if there was an emergency or issue, they wouldn't have noticed. The wave pool snow area is icy, slippery. There isn't much they can do about it since it's artificial snow, but there are no employees monitoring for safety either. We watched several people falling on the wave pool concrete.Pros:The kids enjoyed blizzard mountain and the wave pool snow area. The wave pool area had snow ball making toys which made snow ball fights fun.The few rides they did get to ride seemed to let them ride for extended time, not just a quick 60 seconds.

Didn't stay at the hotel, just went to the water park.Loved it! Everything was awesome. The improvements they've made over the past decade have really added a lot.

I would not go to this resort simply because this is a historically terrible place for the former residents of Oscarville. I see from the reviews that it is very expensive. Are any of the profits being shared with the descendants of the people who were displaced and forced to leave to build this man made lake; despite being a thriving Black community? Do you even show respect by acknowledging this history, and the fact that it is a dangerous body of water for modern day lake goers? I'd really like to know. Even a plaque explaining what happened would be a small start of acknowledgement. Do you acknowledge? Or is it all hidden like so much American history that is dark, and nothing to be proud of.

Fort Yargo State Park
State park
Nature & Parks
Historic fort in a state park with campsites, yurts, trails & a beach on a 260-acre lake.
Wonderful natural State Park. We volunteered during the "State Park day" and did cleaning for a playground area. This park is very picturesque and features a beach. Like all state parks there's a $5 parking fee and it's well worth it. The visitor Center looks brand new in modern featuring a gift shop. The best thing about this park is the people including park ranger Aiden. He planned our event successfully and was very helpful in coordinating the resources. There is everything you would want featured at this park.

Great location to hike. Beautiful trails winding around the lake- mostly flat. $5 entrance fee to park if you go in through the main entrance. Well maintained facilities and nice playgrounds, camping and picnic areas. Watch out for the bugs though- lots of mosquitos even in the middle of the day and of course so many spiders.
Dinushka F — Google review
Such a beautiful park! Plenty of trails to hike and jog. Tons of accessible shoreline for fishing and paddling (kayak, canoe, SUP, etc). The beach is a fun spot to hang out and grill with family and friends and just launch your exploration of the park! Very well kept and maintained! Totally will be going back!!

We have only ever come to this park to hike around the lake which is 6-7 miles of mostly shaded and relatively flat trail. There are sections that have a little bit of elevation but mostly an easy hike. The scenery is beautiful! You have a view of the lake for most of the way including a few bridge crossings and the dam. My favorite section makes me feel like a hobbit as you go through a canopied wooded area with areas of wildflowers surrounding. You do have to pay a daily fee to enter. There are bathrooms at the welcome center as well as a gift shop. They are currently doing work to the beach area and much construction was recently completed to add new cabins. I definitely want to return soon to bike the more extensive trails and kayak on the lake!Worth a trip to the small, rural town of Winder. Stop in town and get ice cream after your hike!

Beautiful park with serene campgrounds. We camped there wit h a 42 foot 5th wheel. Pull through site 28 is very spacious. Some trimming needed because branches scrape the camper.

We love the trails and the lake and views are gorgeous. Camp grounds are fantastic. The only downside right now 2 playgrounds on the non camping side and currently the only one usable doesn't have swings or much for kids to play on. But, we still LOVE it and is our #1 choice for a quick escape.

Beautiful park w great views. Nice pathways with paved trails and dirt trails around the lake. We came up to spend a family day hiking and film a website design marketing video for Zanardo Dezignz.Excellent mountain bike trails. There's even a super cool tool station for your bike near the visitors center. We are coming back to visit the beach during the summer to swim and go kayaking and canoeing.

I spent a day at Fort Yargo State Park kayaking and hiking, and it was a pleasant experience. The park wasn't too crowded on the weekday I visited, which made it even more enjoyable. can see it getting busier on weekends with good weather, though. Overall, it's a great spot for outdoor activities, and I'll definitely be back for more adventures!

Really nice state park. Campsites are close to the lake. The bath house was clean. Visitor's center is nice. We didn't like sharing the hiking trail with cyclists as they sometimes didn't alert us they were coming. I think it's dangerous.

We had a great time walking the trails and geocaching along the way. This place is huge, so we will have to return to walk more of the trails. We also want to check out the beach and mini golf in 2025!!

This an old state park with new visitors center and 4 new cottages out of 17 spread out. The park has everything you need from just admiring the 269 acre lake and the lush surrounding, bike trails that will test your skill, water activities, boating, hiking trails of different levels of difficulties, fishing, camping ground, RV park, yurts, to fishing. The visitors center has assortment of souvenirs to remember your visit or to help support the park. There is a replica of the old fort house across the lake from visitors center. The roads are well maintained which is a big plus.We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem so close to our home in Hoschton GA. This is a must visit state park.

This was my first visit and hike at Fort Yargo State Park. I completed a 6 mile hike and it was absolutely beautiful. There were no issues with parking in the area was very clean. I hope to visitagain when the weather is a tad bit warmer.☺️

For all my mutual camp-goers out there, Fort Yargo is a nice pick. It has all the amenities someone is looking in an ideal camping experience (accessible bathroom, medium sized camping spots, lake for kayaking and swimming). You do have to schedule way ahead of time and put down $10 for a spot of your choosing. Be prepared to bring everything ahead of time and grab what you need- it can be at least 20 minutes from everything found locally.I didn't experience any rough hiking trails or come across wild animals, and felt the experience was mostly isolated. A few people here and there but a good amount of privacy.

A very nice state park. Probably the best that the wife and I have been to over the last 6 weeks. We have decided to go to one state park a week until we visit all of the state parks in Georgia. This park has it all. A beach RV camping, primitive camping cabins to rent and it even has a yurt if you want to rent a yurt as well. Several pavilions dozens of picnic tables and a large concession area with a very large covered pavilion next to the concession area. This park looks like it has a lot of visitors in the summertime. There are canoes available as well as paddle boats. The swimming activities are no lifeguard at this time and the boats that can be used are closed for the season. There are also plenty of trails and such for those that like to do that. This is a dog friendly park. The visitor center is very nice in the staff are very pleasant to work with.

This park is a hidden gem in Georgia that offers a great escape into nature, perfect for a day trip or a weekend getaway. Great for outdoor enthusiasts and families. Highly recommended for those looking to escape into nature without venturing too far from the city. Is located near Winder, Georgia, and just about an hour from Atlanta. The visitor center is helpful, with friendly staff and a small gift shop. Parking is ample, and fees are reasonable. The park is beautiful, with serene lake views, lush forests, and well-maintained trails. It's a perfect spot for photography and relaxation. If you want hiking, biking, walking, running, the park features well-marked trails for everything. The trails vary in difficulty, making them suitable for beginners and more experienced adventurers alike.I think kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing are permitted. The lake is calm.Camping is available. There are plenty of picnic areas with tables and grills, making it a great spot for family gatherings. There's also a disc golf course and a large playground for children.

I have camped here by myself, with my wife and with two dogs as many as 30 times over the last 30 years. We have always enjoyed our stay here. We have camped in both campgrounds and in the primitive camping areas as well. We have seen many improvements over those years. The primitive area has moved and been replaced with yurts. The rest rooms have been rebuilt. The lake has been improved and new fishing docks have been added. The hosts have always been friendly and helpful when needed. And of course there is now the new welcome center. Shopping and restaurants are nearby when needed. Our favorite campsite is number 32 due to its privacy but has a longer walk to the bathrooms. We have fished there, rented a Jon boat and ridden on the lake in a folding boat with motor. There are always events scheduled throughout the year and a lot of history surrounding the fort.I recommend this state park and suggest getting a friends of the park pass as it is a great value especially if you are a senior or active military or veteran.

So, my trip to Dawsonville to the North Georgia Premium Outlet was worth the trip! 👍This location has all the brand stores that you could ever want.❤ The stores are high-end🤑 to low-end and all in between. The property is clean, and it has an adequate amount of stores for whatever you might be looking for! The prices are truly a deal. I can truly say that I was not disappointed!💯👍🙌

When family’s in town, you’re often asked to find affordable shopping spots—not the malls, but outlets. This weekend, I spent a few hours at the North Georgia Premium Outlets, which has plenty of stores and is easy to navigate. We shopped at a few places like Nike, Adidas, Hugo Boss, Lululemon, and more. The prices at outlets tend to be better than at malls, even if some items are from previous seasons; you can still find quality buys here. The drive from Atlanta to Dawsonville is long, but worth it. I don’t usually review shopping spots, so I apologize if I’m not too detailed. For more info, check their website to see a list of stores.Cheers,BN

Great options. All out doors for those of you who aren’t too mobile or if it’s raining. On a Tuesday the whole food court was closed. Great time to avoid crowds and incredible sales…..Still if you are marathon shopping ….a drink and something to eat would be nice. For some reason my phone was having trouble downloading their map. Luckily very nice security and he was super patient with the line following him, like the Pied Piper, asking for directions.Better signage and a backup paper copy would be nice or at least and electronic board at the front of each row.

Shame on NGPO for letting the American Flag turn into a tattered mess! Have a local Boy Scout troop or the local VFW retire that flag properly. Get a new American Flag! NOW!!!!

I want to give a shout out to an amazing boutique that keeps me coming to this outlet even though it’s 70 miles away from me. I strongly recommend Glam collection to all my girl mommies that are shopping at this outlet. They have the BEST customer service and care. Diana delivers top notch service to every client that steps through the doors. Which is so rare to find these days. Aside from the amazing customer service I have to say the quality of clothing here is also immaculate. You will find the most beautiful unique and luxurious dresses and outfits for your princess. In addition to that this store offers personal orders for special occasion gowns. This store is the main reason I come to these outlets

This outlet mall is truly remarkable. We were delighted to discover a wide variety of well-known brands offering significant discounts. The indoor structure of the mall makes for a pleasant and convenient shopping experience. It was not overly crowded, which added to the enjoyable atmosphere. The food court offers a diverse selection of delicious food options. The ample parking space is also commendable. We particularly appreciated the outdoor seating areas, which provided a relaxing ambiance.

The outlet has such great options, including high-end stores. The only duggestion I would give is to update the signage. It can be a little misleading. The sign had 7 for All Mankind but never found the store. Other than that, great options and even some good deals.

North Georgia Premium Outlets is a shopper's paradise! Found some amazing deals on brand name clothes and accessories. The place is clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what you're looking for. Plenty of stores to choose from, so there's something for everyone. Plus, the food options were great! I definitely recommend checking it out.

I'm a local here. It's sad to see the mall dated and not kept up. We were excited to see them starting to paint. We were hopeful they cared about the place. Then the painting stopped... just 1 store on the corner was painted. Now, it's two colors. Some of the great stores have left. I used to make this my area to shop, but it's rare I go now.We did hear that the place is bringing entertainment. We hope that sparks the owner to give the place some deserved TLC. - making the mall great again!

My favorite outlet mall. They usually the best deals on name brand clothes and shoes. The broad range of brand specific stores is a plus making it easier to find exactly what you want and not just what's "cool" and "in-style" at the moment. It is somewhat of a drive away from me but totally worth it in the end.

Great place to shop. It had almost everything you could want. Great toy store and candy store. They have an outside playground and plenty room for parking. This is an outside based mall so it's different shopping experience. I love where it's located and the stores that are available for shopping.

I recently visited North Georgia Premium Outlets and had a fantastic shopping experience! The outlet mall had so many stores and products available at reasonable prices, and I was able to find some great deals. What's more, they even gave us additional discounts, such as an extra 15% off for certain stores if you're a student.I was particularly impressed with the selection of clothes at Levi's, Columbia, and Tommy Hilfiger. I found some really pretty shirts at Levi's and some cozy knit shirts at Tommy Hilfiger. The selection was amazing, and I had a lot of fun shopping.Overall, I highly recommend North Georgia Premium Outlets for anyone looking for great deals on quality products. The discounts were a nice touch, especially for students, and I found some really great clothes during my visit. Don't miss out on this great shopping destination!
